  1. Have you checked your reservation under your Cruise Planner on the website? I am not having any issues with the app, reservations are there, etc. I then checked the calendar in my Cruise Planner (website) and they are there as well. Check your Cruise Planner to ensure they are still in place. I think it’s likely a glitch of the app in your case.
  2. Not on Beyond, but on Apex last fall there was a large table of 10 when we were dining. I have read several posts that Le Voyage has no tables larger than 4 and the tables cannot be moved.
  3. Definitely not. In fact, it may be totally booked by the time you board. Last fall on the 14 night Apex TA, I heard many people checking daily to see if they had moved up on the waiting list. I was very glad I had booked months before. Well worth it!
  4. Absolutely! Go to your reservation, go to cruise planner (as you would to book an excursion), scroll to “Dining”, then to Eden and make your reservation. After you select the passengers, the night, the time (and available times will probably vary by night), you will “check out “. If you have OBC you want to use, be sure to check that the OBC is charged rather than your credit card.
  5. Thanks for letting me “sail along “ with y’all. I always enjoy your threads and know I will enjoy this one as well. We’ve sailed from Bayonne once before and will again as Beyond makes her first US cruise . . . so looking forward to those pics and comments. Our first stop is Bermuda, so those as well. This thread will keep me going as I wait the remaining 92 days😃😂 Thank you for sharing! HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🍷 🎈🍷
  6. It may not make a difference, but the Classic package also includes the soft drinks, bottled (canned) water, and the vast majority of coffees and teas at Cafe al Bacio (covers all but a few of the coffees with alcohol) as well as fresh juice.
  7. It has been reported on other threads by @Jim_Iainthat notification has now been added as a feature. I used the app primarily to check menus. However, I once planned to attend an activity on a sea day and went to the location listed in Celebrity Today. No activity; checked the app, it had been moved to a different location. The app had been updated, but the Today had been printed before the move.
  8. Yes, it is fine to add photos later.
  9. I emailed Crystal and received the following reply:
  10. I will try . . . On the Celebrity website, go to your cruise Go to Cruise Planner Scroll to find “Dining” Scroll past the specialty restaurants and the various dining packages to “Complimentary Dining”. (My only booked cruise is on Beyond which has 4 MDR options so yours may only list the MDR by name, which I believe on Constellation is the San Marco Restaurant). I hope this is helpful. Good luck!
  11. For our October cruise on Beyond, I made our select dining reservations months ago. It’s a 9-night cruise, and we have booked specialty restaurants for 3 of the nights, but for the 6 remaining nights, we have 5 nights at 7:30 and one at 7:00.
  12. Yes, we have eaten at both. The Tuscan Restaurant on the E-class ships is one of 4 that comprise the MDR. As a result, the majority of the dishes served are the dishes served in all the MDR’s. There is a section in each of the 4 that offers “exclusives “ to that restaurant. We ate at Tuscan on Apex 3 or 4 times last fall (14 night cruise) and will be on Beyond this October. I notice on the app that the exclusives on the Beyond are not identical to the Apex. However, each had 2 pasta entrees. You didn’t indicate on which ship you’re booked, but I would suggest going to the app, even if your cruise is not yet on the app you can check dining on another cruise on the ship. Go to dining, MDR, select Tuscan and check the “Tuscan Exclusives “ section of each course. You’ll find 3 starters, 3 entrees and 1 dessert. Decor-wise, Tuscan was one of my 2 favorites.
  13. There is one, on one side of the bed, but it is above the bedside table. If you look to the right of the bed and lamp, above the table, you’ll see the outlet on the side wall.
  14. If you buy a dining package, you cannot book any reservations before boarding. The best option is to head to any of the specialty restaurants or the station that is usually outside OVC ASAP after boarding and book those 3 nights. You may have to be flexible with nights and times, but will probably be able to book these.
  15. They should be able to help with that. We’ve been concierge several times, when on M-class for the added square footage, once on a sailing when we wanted an aft cabin and they were concierge and then when very little price difference. We have never needed to use the concierge, but on a cruise departing Civitavecchia a couple on our roll call flew in that day from London - but their luggage stayed at Heathrow. The concierge located it, arranged for it to be flown to our second port as the first port had no connection to Heathrow. She also arranged complementary formal wear (it was back in the day), free laundry for the few items they had with them and transport of the luggage to the ship at the second port. as for the canapés, we always request cheese, crackers and fruit instead.
  16. While I don’t normally think the extras for Concierge class are worth the added cost, the concierge staterooms on M-class ships are slightly larger than a standard balcony. For only $84, the added ~20 sf might be worth that.
  17. I am confused . . . Luminae is the restaurant for Suites while Aqua has Blu
  18. I have booked flights through FBC a few times. I find the flights I like, times, connections, etc. Then I call FBC and have all that info. The rep will look the flight up, quote a price and I then book on the phone. They email me the confirmation as well as an updated invoice for the entire cruise while we’re on the phone. For our upcoming flights this fall, he selected seats after asking what we wanted - I can, of course, go in with the locator # and change seats if I want.
  19. I look forward to reading the entire review as we board Beyond in October for her first US sailing, the repositioning from Cape Liberty to Ft. Lauderdale. We were on the Apex TA last fall and if this cruise is anywhere near as nice 😊😊😊
  20. It is still too early for your cruise to show on the app. Our October 26 sailing on the Beyond just showed today. However, the menus will be the same as those on earlier cruises, albeit perhaps not in the same order. You will at least have an idea of the MDR menus.
  21. The MDR menus are pretty consistent across the fleet. What is not consistent is what menu on what day of the cruise. All you need to do is select another Solstice cruise, preferably before yours, and you should be able to see the menus. If the itinerary is the same or similar to yours, that would increase the likelihood that the order of the menu would be the same or similar. what is the date of your cruise?
  22. And if it as good as the dish on Apex, it is outstanding! As is the Meyer Lemon Tart.
