    Many of the stores no longer do the elaborate window displays that were seen years ago. However, it is still a fun time to visit. Just be prepared for crowds that can become quite taxing to say the least.

    Take the Augmentin with food, it will be less irritating. Grilled cheese with tomato soup is a favorite here, too.

    It is a beautiful day in Southern New England. Had to put on long sleeves for biking but shorts are just fine today.

    Great group of kids. I really wanted the win for them. Next week we will have a game with some other team that lost their playoff. Then we will have our big Thanksgiving Day rivalry. Then it will be time to say goodbye to the seniors. That will be hard.

    Maybe RCI could start selling those empty crew cabins ... category EC... economy class.

    So when cabin service was cut by 50% the allotted amount stayed the same. Interesting.

    However, if RCI does in fact turn all that money over to the crew then RCI is out $44 in income. If the poster had used that money to buy three drinks then RCI would only be out the cost of the ingredients of the drinks or about $6 figuring $2 cost to RCI per drink. RCI is now at -$38. Seems like a shot in the foot to me.

    Autograts did not exist when we started cruising. And I would never get that answer from Guest Services as I would not ask a question that is none of my business in the first place.

    The same people who talk about how hard working and deserving the crew are will then turn around and hand RCI money 90 days before a cruise as compensation for service that they have not yet received all to save $2.00 per day.

    You can when you initially make the reservation. In the past you could make many changes yourself to an existing reservation, even change your cabin. RCI has evolved backwards taking away many self serve options.

    In most instances it seems to me that the date of departure determines which policies are followed and they apply to the entire cruise.
