  1. 100% agree. Otherwise from shoreside, if you even receive a response at all it'll probably be along the lines of "thank you for your feedback".
  2. Thanks for the review. One thing with the wifi is the settings on all ships, the OP says iMessages so they have an iphone. There are two auto-join settings everyone will want to enable. Go into settings, Wi-Fi and all the way to the bottom set "Auto-Join Hotspot" to "automatic". From the same Wi-Fi screen, find the ships wifi network, press the blue I and enable "Auto-Join". It won't be perfect but it greatly reduces the times you need to manually re-connect to the ships hotspot.
  3. No perks unless one is a super high roller. They'll sell the alcohol package at 15% off but even as a drinker, you may be able to pass on the drink package. You get free drinks while playing and if you have CC status may be able to get free happy hour drinks. Additionally, you can carry on 2 bottles of wine per person and perhaps charge a couple of drinks per day to your room. Still far cheaper than paying for the drink package.
  4. It's been validated as legit; took me literally one second to copy the email and paste it into google. If they had the last four numbers of your credit card odds are they would have your entire credit card number and would not need you to call in. The number in the email was probably to the billing center. Yet, if you have a PVP and an email seems suspicious you should call your PVP
  5. Unless one is early riser (fitness center opens at 6am on the 'Nox) and/or a heavy sleeper, I'd pass on bidding on any rooms that can get me under the fitness center
  6. One datapoint I’d like to know, if one has taken a comped sailing, are they still receiving comped offers?
  7. Perk costs are up there yet the most expensive perk is alcohol which could be skipped if you're okay with the workarounds. All statuses can get free drinks at the casino, carry on wine and worst case, pay individually for a few drinks from any bar. If at least Elite status, they can also have mimosas from 8am-10am and happy hour from 5pm-7pm.
  8. Pretty much agree with you 100%, I just wanted to comment on the shops, I do wonder if the high-end shops are more for projecting a luxurious experience than selling merchandise,
  9. My WAG (Wild A$$ Guess), its partly because they have real balconies
  10. For those who didn't know, if you schedule/reserve an uber/lyft in advance it locks in that price:
  11. Care to mention how the internet speed was? I know it's bad but when you went to a website, did it eventually load or fail to load sometimes?
  12. Been to a few of these, I'd guess it depends on the ship and capacity. From what I witnessed, maybe 2/3 are wearing something white and a very small % wearing only white. You have the DJ and the Activity Director and/or the Cruise Director on the pool stage, you have people dancing up front and others off to the side or the deck above observing. Most recently the hot tubs were open which was surprising
  13. You should call the BCC (usually there isn't a wait) and see if you qualify for AQ class for $10/night upgrade fee
  14. Speculation it's by design, they're hoping folks just blindly book online without verifying the higher price they're paying
  15. Yes yet its now called full moon deck party, usually starts at 10pm
  16. What's it like inside the terminal? Been there 8 times since the restart but have never parked there. Never noticed any problem inside.
  17. Fire sale to increase end of year annual revenue. It can save folks quite a bit, but the downside in the flyer community is that since you're not flying on your favorite big three airline (American, Delta and United) domestically, you're not earning status on them.
  18. You'd need to call reg customer service (not the BCC) to find out for sure. If you're paperwork says classic, doubtful that's a mistake/typo
  19. The best course of action would be asking to change rooms
  20. One more internet tip, if you’re one is going with a significant other and you both want the internet, it’s cheaper to buy one person two devices.
  21. Yes, another tip is since the internet isn’t included except for super high rollers, see if you can use your CC/BCC minutes for the first few day and purchase the internet mid sailing. It’s broken down by night if you can wait for the morning of day 3, you’ll only pay the prorated amount and save 2 nights
  22. those who like to sit outside most likely won’t enjoy them, those who rarely sit outside will most likely enjoy them
