  1. Beyond Burgers are healthier in many categories such as saturated fat than real meat and many restaurants over-salt their burgers anyways. Hoping they eventually can squeeze a few full servings of vegetables.
  2. Plant burgers are only so-so, their target market are the meat eaters looking to reduce their meat intake including the "meatless mondays" crowd; many vegans are repulsed by premise. 5 Guys burgers and fries are fantastic, for "fast casual" I prefer Shake Shack and Umami Burger which is closer to a sit down restaurant than it is to fast casual. If you want a thicker patty, try a burger at mid-tier chain steakhouses, Ruth Chris, Flemings, Capt Grille, etc. Some locations have them during happy hour along with cheaper drinks. All produce burgers better than 99% of the burgers out there.
  3. The BCC/casino dept has nothing to do with the MoveUp and if you call will most likely be told "no". If you can't bid, email your Booking number to: celebritymoveup@celebrity.com
  4. I show the desserts for a 2024 cruise so something is there. Perhaps it depends on your phone, current operating system and if the app is updated. Otherwise perhaps the person in charge of making the menus go live hasn't uploaded them yet.
  5. Thanks. Dang, I also am guessing the 15% discount does NOT apply to specialty dining packages?
  6. I was talking apples to apples, the majority would agree an TGIF steak is going to be better than any buffet/MDR steak; the quality of the meat makes the difference. You are right with cruise ships serving more people but they've been doing batch cooking for decades
  7. Thanks. I'm also curious if any NON-revolutionized apply the discount
  8. Which ship(s)? Just speculating it could be only on the newer/revolutionized ships
  9. Anyone know: 1) Can you book pre-cruise in advance (and go to guest relations once on board)? 2) If yes, does the 15% stack with pre-cruise discounts?
  10. Wow, a few weeks ahead of their most recently published schedule which they removed from their site.
  11. They're great however some ships have removed them (remember in my rant above with cost cutting?) and therefore I wouldn't be surprised if they'll be phased out fleetwide sooner than later
  12. Not sure how soon (maybe 24 hours) you complete the safety videos in the app but we do them the morning of embarkation day. I could of sworn I once did them the day before, perhaps someone else can chime in. The muster station has been a mixed bag, we've watched everything in the app where the items have been shown "complete" in app. Get to the muster station and the crew says they can't see that we completed it yet checks us off anyways
  13. That's often the case that SS's are more closely aligned in price to AQs than IV staterooms.
  14. FYI, for a more VIP experience go tagless. The porters have blank tags in their pockets will write the room number on. I've done it 8 times now, always receive my bags.
  15. Should be noted for those who don't have AI and want the internet for at least two devices for at least two people, compare the price for one person having multiple devices vs two people having one device
  16. Yup! This seems to rub people the wrong way, but I'd take the food at a chain restaurant (Applebees/Chilis/TGIFs/etc) over X's buffet or MDR any day.
  17. Almost every food item is better in a land based restaurant with at least a 3.5* yelp reviews. Imagine if we could publicly rate the cruise ship restaurants, what would it have, 2*s? If a restaurant doesn't make good food, they go out of business. No threat of the MDR going out of business so they can let the bean counters degrade the food quality. Many of us do not cruise for the food and try to eat when in port. While food like everything is increasing in costs, it seems most cruise lines including X do not care to increase their food budget beyond the rate inflation. Their service is often on par with a fine dining restaurant however. The way ahead seems to be for them to partner with restaurants because they have to follow recipe and quality requirements. Many have ranked CCL's Guys a top 10 burger, the burger recipe is online, the patty itself is simply cooked with salt, nothing else. Why is it so good and in many opinions the Mast Grill/MDR/Buffet burger so bad? CCL spends the money on better quality beef patties.
  18. Don't think you'll receive any other answer other than more inventory = less expensive or a pricing bug
  19. Usually its supply and demand, but if you're saying Concierge is cheaper with the sail only rate sounds like a bug. Check out the inventory
