  1. Yeah, it def seems odd what the factors are to trigger the offer(s)
  2. I cruise on X about ten sailings a year, have had both and they both are extremely bland beef patties, Carnivals Guy burgers are much better. The Mast Grill hotdogs are outright gross, wish they would buy costco hotdogs.
  3. Are the Caribbean offers have many ships/itineraries or is it just the Millie out of PR?
  4. Patents last 20 years, this was awarded in 2016. It’s wrong to assume their patent prevents a competitor to launching their own device.
  5. Yeah, there was an older thread on this and were wondering who makes the decision to "release" casino offers to those with minimal play and some claimed they received the offer and have never played. Seems to be a total crap shoot to whether they attempt to fill underbooked sailings with casino offers, removed single suppliment, deep military/vet/emt/etc
  6. Thanks for your mini-review! X sent a comped casino offer for this sailing to just about anyone who played in an X casino before; they also didn't exclude holidays like Thanksgiving, XMas or New Years which is highly unusual and was most likely included due to low bookings. I took the offer for her and will be on her soon but this is the least excited I've been to go on a X cruise as it only goes to Mexico and I have been to all the ports before, there isn't a ton to do.
  7. Just curious if they added it? I did ask in the roll call. Originally it was said all ships RCG wide would happen by the end of Q1, that was updated with the timeline which was at one time posted on X's site, now this above image was replaced by "coming soon".
  8. I'm not a patent expert but am sure you can't patent the whole idea of wearable devices that transmit to proximity sensors; perhaps the looks of the medallion itself and software system. Also, these are foreign flagged vessels that sail in international waters. Overall point being if RCL/X wanted these, they would have them
  9. Lately on embarkation day they've been leaving a post card with pressing for $35 I think for 6 or 8 items. That is a deal for those who want a lot of items pressed.
  10. I haven't noticed a reduction either; I was told the only difference was at turn down they wipe things down. With GoGreen often it's wrongly assumed that used towels won't be replaced.
  11. MSC already has the same thing. Also while very doubtful, any cruise line is welcome to work a deal to license this or just copy the tech and pay the infringement fine
  12. The MSC is all setup and ready to go when you put it on. Folks still have trouble getting online. This does solve the problem of Celebrity having to pay to develop and maintain a watch app however I just don't think enough people have the watch or care to use their watch to open the door to invest into this.
  13. Just get something like this, use it while on the ship only
  14. Best answer I can give you due to the extremely limited information given is book a hotel with a water taxi stop. Really depends on several factors such as budget (which GREATLY varies by date range), if you're going to have a car and what you're looking for in a room. Have stayed in about 8 Hilton properties in the past 18 months, Hilton Marina offers balcony rooms overlooking the marina, near the water taxi and near a bunch of restaurants. There is a path to walk from the hotel to marina which has lots of huge yachts. If renting a car consider the Hilton Garden Inn in Dania Beach which has free parking, is not on the water taxi but there are about 20 restaurants within a 10min walk.
  15. As @hrhdhd put it, it can be difficult to determine what is a perk vs an amenity. Celebrity has minimized the use of the word "perk" since they deployed always/all included
  16. It seems OVs-Concierge have a lot of availability, it seems that even in sailings that are less than 50% that AQ and up sail full. The cheapest way to book a cruise on X for those who want lower categories is to book an inside within a month of sailing and to go guest relations upon boarding the ship to inquire about upgrades
  17. I'd be very surprised if they make anything public since this is the first sailing in the US and their collab with Below Deck; the last thing they'd want is the public hearing about Covid
  18. It’s usually not hard to get on their wait list
