  1. If you have the drink package, they don't stand a chance...JK
  2. That's fair, I mean it's safe to say quality has always been on a steady decline; usually its the same on land based AI resorts as well
  3. It was from the mast grill, other lines like Carnival uses Guys Burgers and they receive rave reviews with some calling it the best burger at sea and that it rivals land based restaurants
  4. 90% of the canned water tastes fine, 10% it can have a metallic taste but it isn't undrinkable The problem with X's policy is they seemed to remove what's allowed on for drinks. Past recent reports say carrying on plastic water bottles is fine, but it's unclear if that's X's policy
  5. Yes but generally not every day, they're often only offered once during breakfast at the buffet
  6. While any cutback is disappointing, at least it appears they kept the same meat quality. FYI, their fries were changed over two years
  7. On the theme that X hasn't made any food quality improvements since the restart, only downgrades, not even my beloved cookies were immune. This was on the Beyond recently, 2021 pic was from the Edge...They seem to now use the same mediocre cookie dough recipe ship-wide which is slightly below average. My favorite splurge is no longer worth the calories On a related note, the brownies are now basically a dense fudge; they taste slightly better than the cookies
  8. Yes. We're talking about something entirely different; some devices can work as a WiFi router where it takes an incoming wifi signal and shares it as a hotspot...The iPhone cannot do this, it can only take cellular data and share it to its wifi hotspot
  9. Yup; I had heard (not sure if it's true) that to do this you'd need two "wi-fi radios" and iphone only have one
  10. I go carnival as much as X, their complimentary burgers, Big Chicken, BBQ and chocolate melting cake hands down beat X in their corresponding dishes. I understand the mindset that one may not cruise for burgers or BBQ but we're talking lunch time, X isn't exactly serving gourmet stuff even in Luminae
  11. This isn't true in my experience; I do see a lot of folks load them up with condiments and toppings. Like a thanksgiving turkey, where the meat is just a delivery vehicle for stuffing and gravy, the burger meat is just a delivery vehicle for condiments and toppings
  12. The only potential issue which is super minor, if one of you are changing devices, say going from their phone to a laptop, it may log the other person's device off when the other person logs on to the new device. All they need to do is log back on It should also be noted that Window PC's have a hotspot feature where you login your window device to X's internet and connect your smartphones to the windows hotspot. FYI that the speed will be split and all devices need to be in range of the windows device
  13. You can (and should) always ask for one fresh from the grill
  14. I've seen cases of soda like that, I can't recall seeing water
  15. This was from the Beyond recently and I asked for a patty hot off the grill. I've included a juicy homemade burger so you can see the texture. X's burgers are so dry, the texture is almost mushy and it just tastes so below average, there's really no flavor and they're very industrial...
  16. Lol, valid...If you want those points that are offered you are forced to START the video or find someone else who's willing to add your CC # to their presentation
  17. You're welcome, I sail often and have picked up on many things. You can certainly bring on metal cans, on the other hand I'm not sure about plastic bottles including water in plastic; and yes, this is in addition to the wine If you want to try to get on water in plastic bottles or other, let's go with "questionable" items, put it in your checked luggage and tip the porters
  18. You can carry on sealed cans of non-alcohol...Both at embarkation and while in port...I always carry on a 12 pack case of flavored selzer water in my "checked" luggage
  19. I can imagine it's a pain...I renewed in 2018, paid for the expediated service and got it in five business days. Hoping they eventually come up with a faster and better process
  20. I actually agree with what I highlighted. However, this is entirely different than being forced to watch a half hour long video about different ports/itineraries in order to gain points. Watching ANY half hour long video can be painful. As @Fly and Sail states, she built her "brand" on her own and I'll add that's not because she produces half hour long videos, most of her social media are highly entertaining one minute long clips
  21. Remember you can carry on two bottles of wine per person and if you try to bring on more, you might get it on but if not it'll be delivered to your room on the last afternoon/evening To my surprise, Carnival recently changed their rules, you have to pick it up yourself the morning of disembarkation
  22. Absolutely agree, although it should noted it isn't just 3 months, it's three months after your planned stay @lostchild, once you find the flight you want you should call the airline to be 100% sure before booking
  23. FYI, you can carry on sealed cans of non-alcoholic drinks like energy drinks
  24. Unfortunately for X, which used to be known as a foodie brand, NOTHING has improved food quality-wise since the restart and in many cases has decreased. This is from the lowly mast grill-Specialties. When both RCI and Carnival introduced the $16.95 additional lobster tail fee, they changed from a spiny lobster tail to the better and more expensive Maine lobster tails, X added the same fee and keep the lesser Spiny lobster
