What is the earliest you can embark if you are booked on Yacht Club? Ivi

As someone who sails MSC quite often and not just on Yacht Club, I am curious how come you call non Yacht Club guests a “herd”. This is quite narrow minded in my opinion. Ivi

Unfortunately it happens with other cruise lines also. For example the extinct Crystal and also with Azamara. Ivi

Every time I see this type of experience, I rush to check at my booking 😃. Until now everything Ok. Ivi

As a Diamond member, I was always able to skip the lines and go to the priority line, which is usually shorter. As far as I recall we were all together in the priority line. Now Yacht Club passengers have a line of their own but if there was no one there, those of the priority line could go to the counter for Yacht Club passengers. Ivi

Dolce far niente does not have to do with inefficiency. Dolce far niente means to be able to enjoy life without the pressure of always having to do something. All those synonyms you wrote, mean that who ever tried to explained Dolce far niente using those terms does not understand Italians and has missed the point. Ivi

Diamond member means priority at check in, so you go straight in front the line. More or less as if you were on yacht club. Ivi

I am sorry to hear about this experiences! Unfortunately no one from MSC will reply, so we will never know the reason. I hope this is not going to be a standard procedure. Ivi

Does anybody have any experience with cabin 15028 in the MSC Fantasia? It is above the Aurea Spa and I wonder if one can hear the noises of the gym. I hope Skier 52 is doing well. Ivi

Thanks for this list. I find the included wines in the Yacht Club rather disappointing. I was expecting better quality Italian wines like a Primitivo or a Nero davola or a Rosso de Montalcino. Ivi

I have also not applied on my own for a visa for Egypt while on a cruise with Azamara. But this was before COVID. As Phil says a correct answer can only give you Azamara. Ivi

I agree that Azamara could offer better wines and a couple of licquors in their included package. For example Amarula, Limoncello or Baileys. The Azamara cruise prices are not exactly cheap. But it is a way for the cruise line to get the cruisers to buy the more expensive drink packages. By the way nothing is complementary. We pay for the included drinks in the cruise fare. I remember before Azamara went to all inclusive, the prices were more reasonable. Ivi

Thanks. Could you please explain how from having 7 cases a day then it was zero COVID? After having had COVID myself, I have only tested negative 12 days after the first day of symptoms. As long as I was positive, I had COVID, with symptoms the first 4 days and without them afterwards. Testing positive meant that I could still infect others. Ivi

We had a bad experience in Amsterdam while trying to get a taxi to the port. We arrived by train at the Central Station and from there it was not very far in terms of kmts to the port but we had our luggage and decided to get one of the taxis that were on the taxi stand outside the train station. When we said to the port, a couple of taxi drivers refused to take us in a very unfriendly manner. Becoming angry with us. Fortunately there was another one who was willing to take us there. He got a good tip. Ivi

I did see a family in a South American itinerary being turned away at dinner time in the restaurant because they were wearing simple sandals called Hawaianas. Ivi
