  3. Apologies, it seems being from the UK we are lucky as it seems US or Canadian passport holders may not be able to apply for this particular visa eVisitor(651). Many countries in Europe can but they can't.
  4. I applied for and recieved eVisitor(651) visas for both my wife and myself online and they were approved in less than 5 minutes. You need to create an immi account and can then apply for a visa for all in your party from there easy peasy. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/evisitor-651 no apps required.
  5. The Celebrity Ephesus tour that we were on, the carpet saleroom was in Kusadasi and the tour guide said that those who did not wish to do the carpet tour could leave now and head straight back to the ship, surprisingly only a few of us got off the bus.
  6. Nafplion is a great little port, no tour necessary, it is an upmarket holiday resort used by Greeks. High end shops and fantastic fortifications at the top of a hill which gives far reaching views. You can climb the many steps or there is a bus or taxi ride to the top. Here are some pics of town and fort.
  7. You are correct, apologies I wasn't sure what you meant when you said tenders took you to the old port.
  8. Many of the ships tours start in the ferry port of Athinios (look it up) and the ships tenders will drop you there instead of the Old Port.
  9. Not Kate (although she was on board) but they did it every night on our cruise,
  10. I don't believe that's the case, in my experience its pretty much 50/50 on all classes. M class use port side as often as not.
  11. Exactly, on our cruise sun was more the exception than the rule.
  12. Here's another couple of pics of what I call the wind tunnel, one on Edge and one of Beyond showing the Magic Carpet where it usually parks. Only occasionally does it go up to deck 16 or down to deck 5. Also a pic of the view from an S class cabana. Beyond Silhouette Edge
  13. Try starting at the top of this thread and follow it through. Is it not the one already listed in this thread ?
  14. It's even better for smokers on the Beyond as the whole area is now smoking.
  15. Yes, D C agreed with you but I believe was talking about this area just outside Eden on the port side.
  16. So anyway, here's a couple of pics of the Magic Carpet on deck 16 where it was for a couple of days on our Edge cruise, it of course has its own bar and the views are fantastic. I assume Apex can do the same.
  17. It's certainly how it worked for us on both the Edge and Beyond in a quiet section , you seem to have been unfortunate. To us it seemed that there were different sections of the dining rooms for anytime and traditional dining.
  18. Totally agree, we have just returned from an Iceland cruise on Silhouette and did not have to wait any significant time to be served in the Ensemble, Martini, Passport or Sunset bars. Occasionally in the Oceanview when it was extremely busy I was more than happy to go to the bar to get my wife a top up but there was no shortage of wait staff getting drinks for people.
  19. The four main dining rooms do both anytime and traditional seating for those that want it. Just as in the S class MDR you can be allocated a table in one of the four and stay there all cruise if you wish. They are attractive locations and we found many suite guests choosing to dine there causing longer queues for anytime dining.
  20. I agree with all of your comments but I would replace Equinox with Silhouette . Just so you know Edge class ships still do traditional dining (6.30pm or 8.30pm), you can have the same table and staff every night and walk past all the queues straight to your table and choose your menu from any of the other three dining rooms.
