  1. Good day. Any reports of noise emanating up from the casino into the french-balcony cabins on the deck above the casino?
  2. Great updates for those of us who are interested in a similar cruise. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for the update and photos. I can't believe that the two of you were not even given separate chairs at dinner. Celebrity has really gone too far.
  4. Thanks for posting. The dinner menu confirms the widely discussed and quite obvious culinary cuts. (And it's not just on Silhouette). Enjoy your cruise.
  5. The recent Cruise Critic guest reviews of Silhouette are weak but overall not awful.
  6. Are there still less-expensive WiFi options that cover the full sailing? And, is it less expensive to purchase the WiFi before the sailing?
  7. From the Celebrity website: "Our menus are crafted by Michelin-starred chef, Cornelius Gallagher, and are inspired by the amazing regions we visit around the world. . . .Along with our top culinary talent on board who prepare the dishes fresh daily using locally sourced ingredients, you’ll enjoy the best dining experience at sea."
  8. In Eurodam's most-recent dry dock (early 2023), were the cabins themselves renovated?
  9. See this thread: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2920810-miami-hotel-with-shuttle/
  10. Also, July 19, 2025, Boston to Rotterdam, stopping in Greenland and Iceland, 17-day voyage on the Zuiderdam (shorter version of the cruise mentioned by Destiny 0315).
  11. I look forward to your impressions.
  12. Will the re-imagining extend to the menus on the other Cunard ships (apart from the pub menu)?
  13. Google "celebrity vs holland america" -- there's a plethora of information. Cruise Critic itself has an article devoted to the matter: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles/holland-america-vs-celebrity-cruises
  14. Thanks for the info. Summer 2025 sailings are visible as well.
  15. Thanks for the information! For those (few) who might want to explore the water-related matter yet further, see this site: https://finewaters.com/bottled-waters-of-the-world
  16. "Mineral water" (still or sparkling) has a noticeable amount of minerals (e.g., potassium) in it -- the mineral count varies by brand/source; seltzer or "soda water" is just regular water with carbonation added. For some persons, the minerals cause gastrointestinal distress.
  17. Good day. Is plain seltzer water available on the ship? Not Perrier, Pellegrino -- just plain-old carbonated water or club soda. If so, is it available via a soda machine, at bars, etc.? Also, have you seen brown rice on a buffet or a restaurant menu? Thanks!
  18. Thank you. I was concerned because some recent Cruise Critic reviews describe the ship as "shabby," "tired," and in need of a "full refurb."
  19. Good day. Is there a reliable source for Cunard dry-dock schedules? I'm particularly interested in the date of the next full dry dock (i.e., a refurbishment rather than a mere propeller fix!) for the Queen Victoria. Thank you.
  20. https://thepointsguy.com/reviews/oceania-vista-cruise-ship/
  21. Are guests isolated in their original cabin or in a different cabin? I've read both that there's an isolation "wing" on the ships but also that some guests have been isolated in their original cabin.
