  1. Your 18 year old won't be allowed in the teen club. This will be due to liability/insurance reasons.
  2. I highly doubt this. Especially since they can't have the casino open when in ports.
  3. MDR is open on the final day, though it will be earlier. The question is whether or not there is a bar open.
  4. CVS (at least my local one) sends the tests out. My guess is a test taken on Friday won't even be processed until Monday.
  5. Do you need a holder, no. Though some people wish to use them. Me, I just put the card in my pocket.
  6. I can't imagine going on a cruise and eating at the buffet for 3 meals a day.
  7. I would expect to see the same ship's excursions you would see on any line.
  8. The price of a cabin is the same whether or not one or two people are occupying it. Just like a hotel room.
  9. Since the internet relies on satellite coverage, it's possible that coverage in these areas is lacking. At least Carnival is warning you ahead of time.
  10. Since you aren't paying for Cheers for the first day you will need to pay for any beverage on the first day.
  11. Yes, all ship's purchases are recorded and handed to Customs. If you are near the limit, or owe, you will be pulled for a visit.
  12. IMHO, if it's your first DCL cruise, skip the alternative dining for dinner and just go through the rotation. If you have a sea day, book brunch.
  13. What did security say when you called to report it?
  14. I'd stay in the Pre Check line for the sole reason of not having to take all the stuff out of my bag. If I'm on a business trip, I have 2 laptops, a tablet, plus a CPAP.
  15. My understanding is that Guy's breakfast wasn't that popular so they discontinued it.
  16. I once flew out of an airport without PreCheck. I didn't have to take my shoes off and got to just go through a medical detector, but I still had to take everything out of my bag. It was a small airport with only a single lane.
  17. In Bar Harbor where they come on the ship, it's just a walk pass them with your passport.
  18. I would expect for the most part, any tourist aimed business will be up and running.
  19. If this was the first US stop, then yes, a face to face is a requirement.
