  1. What you see is what you get. The menus don't change (except for Test Kitchen, where they rotate). There will also be daily specials in the Galley.
  2. The day you check in, they wear a NCL tag. The next day it will be a RCI tag.
  3. I will be booking a last minute cruise on the Enchanted Princess for late June. It's been 12 years since we last cruised with Princess (timing just hadn't worked out). I know there has been lots of changes in those years (dining/etc). Anything major I should know about? I'm going to be booking a mini-suite at a minimum (I really like having a couch) so will probably book a reserve. Since we will be celebrating our 15th anniversary this year (we honeymooned on the Emerald Princess), I am considering splurging for a corner aft penthouse suite. Any opinions on whether or not it's worth it? The one thing that is making me want to book this suite is the size of the balcony. The ability to have my own lounge space on a holiday cruise sounds like a great idea.
  4. Personal opinion, late September is probably not the best time for Alaska.
  5. I'd be willing to guess that at the same time the ship is heading back, a Coast Guard boat is also heading out so as to meet in the middle to transfer the patient.
  6. Where is Key West on your itinerary? Is it the first stop, or on the way back? If on the way back, you'll need to go through immigration. Also, do you know where your docking? One of the docks used is on a base and requires transportation in/out. The other thing is Key West is clamping down on cruise ships. Some itineraries are being changed due to that.
  7. Unless your mum is going to be constantly recording, she won't have a chance to film you. It's all done live.
  8. I'm not sure you are allowed to bring a stand alone humidifier on the ship.
  9. Presuming you talked to guest services after this transpired, what did they say? I'm surprised they allowed the scooter to tender.
  10. I think you will be limited to NCL in September. In all honesty, I would wait and go next year.
  11. NCL has been doing the Friday-Friday Bermuda run from Boston for many years. I don't see that changing.
  12. While I have no personal experience with this group, it is my understanding that they actually do dress quite well for dinner.
  13. My humble opinion: For a transpacific cruise, I would not put any guarantees on there being a usable internet signal for the entire voyage. I would expect there will be times when there is no coverage.
  14. That search functionality never worked anyways.
  15. I would guess it will be a ship doing a Friday - Friday Bermuda run.
  16. My guess is the TA doesn't want to deal with it.
  17. To the best of my knowledge, only HAL regularly schedules priests on their ships to perform mass. Now, it's possible there will be a priest who is a passenger that might offer it, but that's not a guarantee.
  18. #2 is definitely allowed. As long as it is all factory sealed. I don't know if you can bring fresh ginger on. Most people bring candied ginger or tablets. I'd be thinking the third option would be a no if they contain heating elements.
  19. The NCL transfers will all leave in the morning, after debarkation. If you want flexibility, you would need to book your own transfers.
  20. As long as all of the ingredients are bought from Texas, yes. There might be a limited selection on the first night.
  21. Yes, but the cruise line will pass the fine on to the passenger. Again, in the case of a medical debarkation, it's very possible that immigration will waive the fine.
  22. In most cases, the fine is waived if you are debarking for a medical emergency.
