  1. You might wish to ask either on the West Coast Departures board, or the Canada/Northwest Ports board. Vancouver is on the west coast of Canada, not the east.
  2. You might wish to ask on the West Coast Departures board, where Vancouver is covered.
  3. You might ask on the West Coast Departures board, where Vancouver is covered as it is not in Alaska.
  4. There is a difference between Bar Harbor and Juneau. Bar Harbor has a good enough tourist season without the cruise ships. Juneau is more dependent on the cruise ships for business. In other words, Bar Harbor can afford to upset the cruise lines, Juneau can't.
  5. Google? The cruiseline does not give out this information.
  6. On the NCL board, someone who is boarding today (I think) mentioned that their Port Valet was cancelled. Claim is that NCL isn't participating this year. Rumor is that it's too early.
  7. NCL keeps pushing the season earlier and later. I can't believe the ports will be ready for cruise traffic this early.
  8. I think the referendum was in 2022, so any reservations past that are "void" if they don't meet the constraints. I believe the cruise industry was banking on the court tossing it out.
  9. Bar Harbor is only honoring reservations made prior to the referendum date. At least until the courts tell them otherwise.
  10. Bar Harbor is only an 4-5 hour drive from Boston.
  11. You will not find a hotel in Boston with a cruise/park package, especially for 20 days.
  12. Since it's a US port, the ship will need to zero out. You will be asked to meet in a lounge with other B2B'ers and then be escorted off the ship to zero out. Once the all clear is given, you will be allowed to board first. If there are a good number of B2B'ers, there is a chance CBP might come on board to clear you, in which case you wait in the lounge.
  13. Norfolk is currently subbing for Baltimore due to the bridge collapse. I know Charleston doesn't want ships, period. Carnival used to home port from there, but once the current contract is over, that's it.
  14. Not correct. Carnival still sells alcohol and pays the taxes as required. I'm guessing they decided that their computer system can't handle the Cheers model on days where there are specific rules in place (ie special liquor in Galveston, or NY's rule about an open package or something like that), so they just don't do it on day 1. Apparently, this rule is also in place for Norfolk.
  15. I think they are bussing people from Baltimore.
  16. Firenze hasn't sailed yet, so there won't be anything. You might try looking at the Venezia.
  17. I didn't think the published dress code differentiated between kids and adults. Whether you can get away with deviating from it or not, that's a different question.
  18. Probably being bussed in from Baltimore.
  19. Generally speaking, you will need to be off the ship by 9:30-10:00am the latest. Some ships offer an extend option, but that might get you to 1:00. I would suggest maybe a day hotel?
  20. I believe Carnival is providing some transportation back and forth this weekend. Not sure if it is limited to just getting people back to Balitmore.
  21. Unfortunately, agricultural laws will prevent you from taking any food that is not prepackaged off the ship.
