  1. As another Diet Mt Dew addict, I can assure you that HAL does not offer it on any of its ships.
  2. The following quotation from the HAL website directly addresses kettles as the OP questioned: "For safety reasons, travel irons, and electric water heaters/kettles may not be used in your stateroom. You may order hot water from our complimentary In-Room Dining service 24 hours a day."
  3. You can request but you will be told that kettles are not authorized for use. Hot water is available in the Lido Market 24/7.
  4. Welcome to CC. Any change to a non-refundable fared cruise causes forfeit of the deposit. I cancelled a person traveling with me and lost not only my deposit but also all OBC even though I remained on the cruise. On a subsequent cruise, my traveling partner was just a "no show" and I saved all of my OBC. If I use Future Cruise deposits with a $200 deposit, I book non-refundable fares. For cruises with higher deposits (Club Orange), I pay the higher refundable fare. Note that HIA fares and refundable fares permit changes without loss of deposits.
  5. It is available only by link and not by searching. Here is the link: Laundry List. Feel free to share.
  6. That is the menu currently being served on the Eurodam. Both are available and will probably be consumed by me tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM after the coconut soup appetizer.
  7. Aboard the Eurodam, premium plan, measured 107/10 in aft stateroom.
  8. No. They do have sinks and a retractable clotheslines in each stateroom. There is great unlimited laundry service for $8.50/day.
  9. More advice. For B2B, Specialty Restaurant reservations (in-person or phone) for the following cruise open the day before the next cruise begins.
  10. If any of the four devices have hotspot capability, you can add more devices to that device.
  11. For photo books (mainly youth basketball/soccer), I have been using Blurb (included in Adobe Lightroom software) for the past 8 years. I have also used Zazzle for giant calendars for many years.
  12. I have noted the new title on my Boarding Pass for Feb 3, "BOARDING BEGINS AT 12:00 PM / GROUP B". Required check-in time is not present. This implies that to board at 12:00 PM, I will have to check-in much earlier. That is much better than my original Group B 12:20 PM check-in time.
  13. That was always my assumption. Pricing staterooms should be based on desirability and I can only guess why Deck 4 is more desirable than Deck 7 in the eyes of the HAL Sales/Accounting folks. Factors could be that when the ship is rolling from side to side in heavy seas, or strong winds, the lean will be felt less on Deck 4. Perhaps being closer to the MDR makes the Deck 4 aft staterooms more valuable. On the other hand, Deck 4 is farther from the pools and Lido Market. FWIW my experience is that the Deck 7 aft staterooms are approximately three feet longer than those on Deck 5. I noticed this by comparing the distance from the bathroom-side nightstand to the wall. I could open my suitcase beside my bed on Deck 7 and not on Deck 5.
  14. I was surprised how many HAL crew members have CC accounts just to see what is being written about their ships.
  15. Do not cancel your paid reservations, instead keep them until you are onboard. Request a refund of your prepaid reservation funds at Guest Services and funds will be refunded to your "non-refundable" OBC account. Since Guest Services cannot change reservation dates/times, enjoy your Specialty Restaurant dinner at your originally reserved date/time and your meal will be charged to your "non-refundable" OBC. Whatever "refundable" OBC funds you have not spent during the cruise will be returned to the credit card used to purchase the prepaid meals. The above process was utilized by hundreds of Ms Nieuw Amsterdam passengers last October when everyone received $250 in "refundable" OBC for a cruise delay. Guest Services had quite a long line the first two cruise days with passengers requesting refunds.
  16. Good portable scanner and MS Word.
  17. I am the creator of the chart with images and pricing from HAL. There is an upgraded version with the correct image of the Pinnacle-class retreat cabanas: Cabana Prices
  18. The website has been having issues. Wait 30 minutes and re login. Check your Navigator app.
  19. This is the Gold Gala Night menu served on the last Gala Night on a cruise. It is my experience that it is standard throughout the fleet.
