I do disagree. I know many who are satisfied with the smaller cabin size and would rather continue to cruise often than waste their money on bigger cabins.

Explora single supplement starts at 15% and goes up to I think it is 85%.

FYI, you can do a status match on MSC to a large number of hotel and cruise companies (including old Crystal) but no airlines. Once you have your MSC number, have your TA apply it to your Explora booking. Various upgrades and shipboard credits etc may be yours.

Please note that not all bottles are equal. Varietals that I don’t like get only a partial count.

Thanks for posting about the MSC status match. I matched to my Hyatt Globalist status. The next morning I received my Diamond notification. My TA provided Explora my status number. Two days later I received notice of a 2 category upgrade + 500 euros shipboard credit.

The conversion was during the crossing from California to Asia. Construction started when the ship left California and was completed and the restaurant opened before we got to Asia.

They are wrong and you are right as you booked double occupancy. You need to have them fix it. You are not the only one to encounter this error.

My cruise last month had somewhat more entertainment than the ones last year but was still sorely lacking in enrichment.

Oct 6 the cruise ends in Venice and Oct 9 it starts in Athens. Sounds more like a charter or marketing cruise.
