  1. YOU can update the table. Anyone can as long as they follow the established guidelines.
  2. IDK Apple stuff much - don't own it. I don't understand why you wouldn't have scrolling left/right and up/down if something doesn't fit the screen.
  3. Interesting. I have not looked at that section for a long time since my card is registered fine and shared with my wife as we usually do (combined statement). ETA: Other countries have unique formats as well.
  4. What part of the App is this happening? Did you select COUNTRY first? Is there a default country on the page you are looking at?
  5. This is one of the major flaws in DMW: NO, you cannot select a table size. We used to be able to request a preferred table size when booking and it was stored in POLAR and we would see it in Cruise Personalizer. As time went by, all sizes might not be shown there. With DMW, all you can do is select SHARING or PRIVATE. With SHARING, you have zero control over the table size and won't know it until you show up for dinner. You will need to speak with the on-board DR mgmt to try and get the size you want. A couple might like sharing at a 4-top, 6-top, 8-top, or 10-top. With PRIVATE, the system is attempting to find a table to fit the size of your dining party. If not found, it may come back with nothing available, or it may say you have to SPLIT the party up (say it was two couples). This is completely dumb, but it is what they have done.
  6. I can say two things. I have suspected this may be the situation in some cases as I could not logically explain the fullness of regular DR reservations on a couple of our voyages long before FP Date. The second thing is you are lucky - I think. Perhaps there is a 3rd thing - and no offense - why is Princess opening up DMW to non-Platinum and non-Elites when the policy states otherwise and it is a specific benefit for those loyalty levels? (I am assuming you are not in a Suite - and you wouldn't even need DMW if you were since you would be dining in Club Class and need no reservations other than Specialty Dining).
  7. Each physical segment. Some book it that way (I do) and some book the logical voyage. Either way works.
  8. @Ready2go11 will not be able to make any dining reservations until they have made Final Payment on the cruise. Only loyalty levels Platinum and Elite have early access to DineMyWay.
  9. We have lots of variety and diversity here in Ontario (and I like to support the good local wineries as well). The only thing bad here is the government monopoly. But that monopoly is about the largest single buyer of wines around the world.
  10. The announcement of a week-long charter in July was done quite a long time ago and there was a thread of grumbling at the time. It really is one physical 7-night voyage, but affected logical voyages of 14 and 21 nights that included the week affected.
  11. I was perusing the Patter you posted for the start of this leg. A couple of notes: 1. I recall another poster a while back was attempting to ask you if you knew which night was Italian Night on the last leg. You weren't sure and referred them to the Patter images. It occurred to me that the Patter never has the DR menu theme listed. I do recall in the past sometimes seeing the Buffet having a theme listed, but not sure if they do that anymore. Another point for the poster (or anyone) is that the MD may possibly mix-up the themes from time to time. Especially since each leg on this ship is a different itinerary. So, if Italian night is night 3 on one segment, it may be night 4 or 5 on the next one. 2. I notice that the DTI night immediately follows the only Formal Night. It is the only logical place for a second night, so might not wanted to schedule two formals B2B???
  12. I have Business booked thru EZ-Air for FCO-LHR-YYZ. Both legs are operated by BA. I elected to book it as with BA for first leg and AA code-share for second leg. I was able to select Business seats on first leg thru EZ-Air when booking. Whether I booked second leg as BA direct or AA code-share, in neither case can seats be selected. I chose to go with AA code-share as I am worried BA will charge a seat selection fee. I believe I will not be able to select seats until ticketed and do plan to request early ticketing shortly after FP Date.
  13. When that happened to anyone it was a particular ship doing it wrong and most likely short-lived. That was absolutely not the policy. Now that MedallionNet ordering recognizes guest CC Member level, Platinum & Elite members see their 50% discount applied at point-of-purchase in the MC App. Should be no more need for OBC. I would say if a guest does not see the discount being applied in MC App, call Princess and get a rep to apply the order over the phone (Chat won't really work unless they can see credit card on file to use).
  14. I had not seen latest PCL language... I mostly got tired of all the changes and it really only matters closer to our travel date. I suppose I got lazy with things relaxing in general. I just hope no new significant wave comes to put clamps back on. We are back to living like 2019 now. Thanks to you both for setting me straight. A quick read of some EU text and another info source had me thinking you had to do a new course after 270 days. Seems like a bit of a toothless thing if vaccine is important. We are told immunity wanes over time. And, yes, I know the vaccine does not provide immunity; rather it is supposed to help keep a course of Covid-19 down to a low impact in terms of reducing hospitalization.
  15. That indeed is a lot of cruising and I can understand not wanting to risk losing it. I am aware they were doing a lot of testing for B2B'ers.
  16. Of course they can dress up every night if they so choose. On our last PCL voyage in NOV 2019, an elderly couple nearby were always there early before we arrive and dressed to the 8's. He was to the 9-Pluses on the formal nights. To each their own!!
  17. It's Alfredo's with a different name. I am positive it will have the same hours.
  18. Interesting how the Germany Princess website has different language than the North American "home" website. Not sure why you selected that one, but it was interesting to see the difference. That said, no one is getting turned away in "a nice dress shirt and dress pants".
  19. Do you have access to DMW now? If you can make regular dinner reservations, then you can also make SD reservations. In general, if you are Captain's Circle Platinum or higher, you should have access to DMW from the day you place a deposit. Otherwise, it is after you make Final Payment. You can always elect to pay the balance owing early if it is important to you to get access to dining.
  20. I enjoy most of the games as well. It seems during the Covid pause, they invented a lot of new games to put on - or at least try on the guests. I cannot figure out how some of them work based on the title. Are you finding the newer games "a breath of fresh air"? Of course the Marriage one and Yes/No standards are always funny too.
  21. I am beginning to get the impression that X is now nicer than Princess due to Princess pulling back on quality in food and some other things. X was a different thing last time we were on them. We wouldn't want a forced drink package, however.
  22. I get it the the on-board locate may not always be accurate, but it is also possible the person was on-the-move and by the time the system updated, they had moved on. I had this happen once and all you can do is laugh about it.
  23. Your great photos are certainly whetting my anticipation for these voyages this October.
  24. When I read it, the text mentioned 270 since primary course OR since booster. We have had the two primary, plus one booster and we expire - according to Europe - in early SEP. We do plan on a 4th shot. We are well-passed expired from the second primary!
  25. It could be them experimenting with changing out of using Formal as a label for those nights and making it DTI similar to other lines. But without any advance information, most guests will arrive unprepared until they have experienced it once. I see it as dressing it up a bit from Smart Casual and then true Formal becomes optional (in their language, even as we all know true Formal is already optional in practice).
