  1. This is a good point. Obviously meaning friends or family from different cabins, or a 3rd or 4th person (child) in the cabin with no package. But look at the case of two guests on Standard fare dining. We are typical of many posting here in that we share at casual dining. We might share an App, a Pizza and no dessert. Sharing seems to be a no-brainer if ordering a la carte. But what if one person orders the Prix Fixe (now called a Cover Charge in an update Princess.com PDF, but not likely such on the menus). Does that mean the other guest is also required to be tapped for a Cover Charge? How will wait staff keep track and enforce which guest(s)/tables can share or not share? You could have a mix of types at a larger table with a group of friends meeting for lunch. We will just adjust and do whatever works without stirring the pot and not worry about a couple of dollars one way or the other (Standard bookings here).
  2. These were previously clarified as NO charge because they are Elite benefits. If not mentioned today, I wouldn't see a change to that (I have not had chance to see seminar yet and I don't even know about Medallions to Canada yet).
  3. Small print on page further down: I agree: prix fixe and cover charge are quite different things. But it does also indicate a la carte. SD has a cover charge per person and no a la carte. Once again, Princess causes confusion with that poorly constructed section on the Ocean Now activation fee. Perhaps Carmen Roig is writing this stuff - or at least approving it.
  4. I think it is worth noting for @jabrown40 that you surely meant to type Plus/Premier Fare packages. I am sure the OP is looking to buy the full cruise package and not the total rip-off standalone beverage package.
  5. No. Totally different situation IMO than a single person asking another single to use an otherwise empty chair. And we don't even know that would be kosher.
  6. I don't get casino offers and the "small print" isn't reproduced it. Princess should have been clear with an exception in their T&C - same as a situation where some ships have no OV cabins. OTOH, I imagine anyone getting this offer is likely a long-time or at least frequent Princess cruiser and would presume to have familiarity with the cabin types. But, it they had read nothing about the new Sun, I suppose they wouldn't be aware.
  7. There is a prescribed limited in the Passage Contract. To quote: "A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.". Something between that and the below might be okay (as I believe guests have been able to carry on a bit more than 12/pp .. say 24?:
  8. If you have a package you can order just a main if you want, and your choice as to whether to pay a la carte or accept one visit count.
  9. What is the percentage increase for Alfredo's from $0 to $8.50?
  10. Not directed at you, but that starred priority disembarkation is not much of a benefit because any guest can priority disembark by electing early walk-off. Indeed, if not picking up a bag in the terminal, a guest can leave the ship as soon as they open the gangway.
  11. I don't think this will be a problem. The one family will most likely be consolidating charges to one credit card and they are in close proximity.
  12. Alrighty, then. If I have to learn to write "TAs" and not "TA's", then you have to learn to write Canadian "whisky" and not "whiskey". Deal? 😁
  13. Okay. I think we resolved this. Won't get into reciting posts, but it took a couple more as you thought I had seen Ocean Now menu for the $8.50. Anyway, it's all good if you did miss something as everyone knows the situation now on the ships. I'm just all about getting the correct information.
  14. Thanks. I was able to correct my recent post and will try to remember this. I may not do it all the time, but I probably do it a lot. You are correct.
  15. Yes, it is OneSource and intended for TAs to use for access to booking and other marketing information. Princess released draft menus and not the final ones it appears.
  16. Of course. To be expected as we all know how great PCL is at keeping up documentation.
  17. Yes, they were posted as PDF's back in July here in Princess Forum and also ended up on that other website. But they were draft menu's and we have actual real menu's and reports from guests on ships this month. Sorry when I made the correction I was still not aware of your source and was trying to confirm it because I believed they were the draft menu pages you had posted and wanted to clarify if from a ship so we could know the correct pricing. So, pizza's ended up to be $8.50 and not the $12 price point in the draft menus.
  18. And the ones you would have received for free would be arriving while you are crossing the Pacific. NBD, as you say.
  19. I hope that my post #457 and corrections to #451 leave us in a good place. I will endeavor in future to make sure I am responding to the correct poster.
  20. My apologies. The page had changed and I forgot you weren't the original person when you asked me why I disbelieved a 3rd party website not affiliated with Princess. I corrected my post and will adjust the other one. Sorry, but I don't see it as harassing. I was asking the poster if the menus were from an actual ship because they looked a lot like screenshots from the draft PDF menus. They never responded to that until finally indicating they came from an unofficial source. I was well aware of reports from ships on the pizza and it was all in effort to make sure we have the most accurate and up-to-date info in posts. There is often rumor, conjecture and misinformation that gets people upset and so forth. Just wanted to make sure the info was either incorrect or correct. No point in having people think pizza's are $12 when they are $8.50.
  21. Yeah, probably at least 3600 happy guests.
  22. I know. But @startedwithamouse seems to want to believe some non-Princess website and not actual evidence from a Princess ship! Mind boggling. Thanks for posting.
  23. I asked the other poster several times if their posts were from an actual ship restaurant. They finally confirmed they were obtained from a non-verified source. Clearly not the final menus. I believe actual guest reports from actual Princess ships. Those were clearly draft menus and Princess made some changes for the actual roll-out.
