  1. We have been there several times but because we are doing the 35 day cruise will have more luggage & carry on than normal. We just would have preferred to check it somewhere. We will take the latest we can to get off the ship and I guess if we have to will just go really close by to grab a bite. I will double check again once on the ship if we can take their tour then to airport but doubt it. Thanks though!
  2. @DAllenTCY is there anywhere to store luggage at the cruise port after a cruise? We have a later flight out of San Diego to Canada so can’t do that luggage transfer thing as our airline isn’t listed. Plus we can’t do a HAL tour/transfer because of the timing of our departure either apparently. We were just hoping to walk to a restaurant for lunch maybe but not lugging 2 suitcases (returning from a South Pacific cruise). Thanks.
  3. What a fabulous cruise you’ve planned! We love the Eurodam & were on her in November for a 10 day Caribbean cruise. We also had the HIA. We dined at Tamarind, Pinnacle (for supper & lunch) and the Canaletto. ALL were wonderful-the food & service! Hope you try them all since you’re on so long & that you also enjoy them. Have a great cruise.
  4. I love the towel animals but missed the eyes so on our November Eurodam cruise brought eyes 😁 I agree, HAL laundry is the best.
  5. I think economy & premium economy is the premium has a bit extra leg room and closer to the front of the plane. (Not positive though). We have only used Flight Ease once before & I looked on Google to find which flights/airlines I wanted then called Flight Ease to see if pricing was same or not. I’m not much help but hopefully others will chime in with their experience/opinions.
  6. @Haljo1935 I’m a dog lover but not on a cruise unless of course it’s a service dog. You are much more patient than I would have been-I really don’t like yappy, untrained dogs. I’d sure be interested how they got them on the ship unless the older person says it’s a therapy dog for her 🤷‍♀️. But they must have somehow been approved for that staff member to ignore it. Been enjoying your reports and photos of course!
  7. You need to come on the South Pacific cruise in February with us & do a tutorial for people like me please! I can’t pay for your trip but I’ve got a lot of OBC I could ply you with liquor 😁
  8. I’ll know who to contact if I run into internet trouble in February as it’s beyond my scope of understanding!
  9. Don’t laugh-we did our first (and only) cruise in a suite on Celebrity a few years back and it came with a butler. We told him we did not want him (in a nice way). He would have unpacked our suitcases etc. He ended up being great & left us alone other than always greeting us when we came back on the ship (I swear he had a camera somewhere!) asking if we needed anything. It was actually funny but no thank you. He did explain all that came with being in a suite which is a lot more than HAL offers on the Neptune suites.
  10. That’s exactly what we used to do. My OBC for my stocks was done for our February cruise so I don’t have to worry about this until our next one after that luckily. Not too eager for this new process.
  11. So for an IPhone do I search for just stockperks or Carnival stockperks or? Sorry, I’m not too great when it comes to App’s.
  12. Us too…November Eurodam was our first cruise since December 2019-got a lot of catching up to do!
  13. Totally agree. We hadn’t had lunch there in many years but went in November with our friends. Was fantastic!
  14. I ate them all and still didn’t work (joking) !!
  15. @POA1 You are impatient waiting to get closer to 5*!!! Ours was credited about 10 days after our November cruise. Yours should be there soon!
  16. Thanks. We didn’t have issues in November on our cruise so hoping none on our long one in February.
  17. You sound like me-long as my toilet flushes, lol. Oh and flashlight for sure. I found it was a really weird feeling but I think (been many years) we lost all power. It felt like we were just floating and so quiet it was eerie.
