We were on Harmony this past late April and at St Thomas we arrived at 7:00am and the gangway opened at 7:30. Quick and easy to get off. If circumstances are the same you should have no problem ...so many taxi/shuttle's lined up and waiting...easy peasy !!!!

Yes...I know it's late in the season as we usually go mid to late May but schedules with the extended family and us being heavily booked on cruises this year only gave us this option. Thanks we'll check at the VC when we arrive.

If arriving day of cruise you can also get a ship transfer price from MIA to PE by contacting your cruiseline directly. Compare that with the above excellent options....then it should be an easy decision for what will work out best for you personally.

Is having a taxi or shuttle pick you up in front of Pan Pacific an option after your cruise? I understand and have seen it's fairly easy to disembark the ship and take the elevator up to the hotel.

We have for years booked directly with our preferred cruiseline. Not interested in a 3rd party or the perks they offer...A personal choice that continues working for us.

My January cruise automatically. My March B2B cruise I had to call and was told because it was a comp cruise no points....Hmmm...a comp B2B in an OS...no I don't think so. They checked and within 24 hours the DP were there. April cruise automatically.

Did you have any priority with the carrier you were flying with?

Yes...We have also but using our laptop in a hotel room. The worry has been trying to keep the tests uncompromised in our carry on. So far we've wrapped them in bubble wrap and treated that backpack with kid gloves during our flights !

At times it's been the timeframe required to test...sometimes hard with pre-cruise stays.

This no elevator issue isn't what you're assuming at all. We're only talking about a couple of stairs and they have amazing helpful staff. Sorry you'll miss out on this wonderful small hotel. And yes I'm an extremely heavy packer and we had 3 large suitcases.

WOW....Impressed with you that do this...I'm glad we did the regular Acadia Tour (bus) booked directly with the National Park and their amazing park ranger full of history and stories about Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Hmmm....Are you sure about needing the city tour? Agree with your choice of Acadia Tour with the National Park service which we've done also in the morning their first tour of the day. Our park ranger guide showed us many locations as we headed out and talked about the history of Bar Harbor. You will also be given a discount coupon (we were) for Testa's restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch after the tour then walked throughout the small Bar Harbor town area. That alone was easy to do no tour of the city really needed....JMHO of course. Sorry for mentioning this to you about needing a city tour but just wanted to offer a suggestion. But you enjoy whatever you think works best for you.
