  1. Assembly stations B and C are in the Carinthia Lounge, deck 7 mid-forward. Technically, the signage may indicate assembly station B is on the starboard side and assembly station C is on the port side, but they consider the lounge to be a combined assembly station BC.
  2. QM2 is scheduled to depart Québec on Saturday, October 1st at 17:00. She will be in Québec all day tomorrow Friday, September 30th. This is a three day (two night) stay in Québec for QM2.
  3. QM2 is in Québec today and is scheduled to be there for the next two days as well. Here is a capture from the webcam found on the Port de Québec website "portquebec.ca" showing QM2's arrival this morning. The other cruise ship in this view is P&O Aurora. I am posting this image with the kind permission of the Port de Québec.
  4. Hi, @techteach. I've had Dec 20, 2022 listed as the Masquerade theme since the first version of the document for QM2. I am showing Dec 31, 2022 as a Gala Evening with no theme for QM2. If you are seeing a theme for Dec 31, I'll be happy to update the QM2 document accordingly.
  5. QV is in Valencia today. Here is a capture from the Valencia Puerto webcam hosted by the Tourisme Comunitat Valenciana website "comunitatvalenciana.com". The other cruise ship in this view is Mein Schiff 2. I am posting this image with the kind permission of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.
  6. I'm overdue posting the links to the dress code and theme schedule documents for easy access here now that we are on a new web page. I've noted itinerary changes in the latest updates. I don't think there have been any recent changes to the dress code and theme schedules themselves. Please let me know if you notice any differences between these documents and the schedules listed in the daily calendar section for your voyages as found in My Cunard. QM2: QM2 2021-22 Dress Code and Theme Schedule QE: QE 2021-22 Dress Code and Theme Schedule QV: QV 2022 Dress Code and Theme Schedule Also please let me know if you are seeing dress code and theme schedules for 2023 yet. I was given the schedules for QV's 2023 World Voyages quite a while ago. I don't have any other 2023 schedules beyond those for early January 2023 already included in the documents above.
  7. That's correct. That photo of mine was taken at the southern end of the Suez Canal.
  8. How about this one? This is a photo of mine showing a different view of one we've already seen on this thread.
  9. The one time we were on board QM2 for Halloween was in 2015. They decorated the ship quite a bit for Halloween on that occasion. Here are a couple of my photos showing the decorations in the Grand Lobby and in Kings Court for that crossing. Halloween on our 2015 crossing is the only time I've actually seen that night listed as a "Halloween Ball" for the theme in the dress code/theme schedules published beforehand. Halloween was a non-formal evening on that crossing and once on board the daily programme billed that evening as "Halloween Party Night" in the Queens Room. I agree with @BigMac1953 that there may not be much more than a Halloween theme to the decorations on your crossing though since it is the final night of your crossing.
  10. I think this is the link to your QE Alaska cruise review from 2019. https://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=659300
  11. Yes it is. Well done. I guess that wasn't such a devious photo after all.
  12. Here's a rather devious photo of mine showing a port we've seen already. I've deliberately picked a photo without any signage to aid the identification but just enough features to be able to identify it if you happen to recognize the location or know where to search. Happy hunting.
  13. Ah, very good. That is Horizon. She's lacking the wavy Pullmantur logo on the side but back in May 2012 she would have only had "Croisieres de France" lettering near the stern where we can see a white patch on the webcam image (the white patch near the bow would be the name "Horizon"). Thank you for that identification.
  14. It looks like a false start for your voyage. After seeing an on-time departure on marinetraffic and the usual turn in the upper swinging ground, it looks like you've headed back to the terminal.
  15. The statistics I have been reporting on the "capacity" thread indicate QV has been sailing recently with about 1700 passengers which is 82% of capacity. Your voyage V227 is not sold out and still has plenty of availability in the Britannia categories. I count 25 available Insides, 12 available Oceanviews and 41 available Britannia Balcony cabins. There are also 4 Queen Suites available on your voyage.
  16. OK, I'll go ahead and identify this one now. It's Cape Town, South Africa. My earlier mention of @Lanky Lad was a reference to his photo in post #1140 which was the first time we saw Cape Town on this thread. There have been a few changes since that first photo with QE2 in it such as all those storage tanks which are now on the dock at center right and more buildings on shore.
  17. Oh, I'm late to the game on this one! Thanks for this additional contribution to our game. Something tells me @Lanky Lad will recognize this one when he sees it.
  18. Time to give this one a go. I think this is Boston, Massachusetts. Specifically, I think we are looking at the approach to runway 4R at Boston Logan International Airport on the way to/from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal.
  19. I'm having difficulty identifying that other ship too. Here are the two original webcam images I have captured 6 minutes apart in case this helps any. The first image might offer some clues since it indicates where that ship was docked. The second image is what I posted previously including the timestamp.
  20. Very good. That happens to be a bridgecam image from QE rather than QV, but it is indeed showing an older view of Civitavecchia. The date of the image is May 29, 2012.
  21. I'm back after leaving town for a few days just before the Bear Island photo was identified. That one had me stumped for sure. Here is another image from my webcam archives. This is a port we have seen before. This time it's a view from one of the ship's bridge webcams back when we could actually see those webcam images.
  22. I wasn't able to listen in live for QM2's departure today, but the helpful blue spanners on the Solent Ships YouTube channel were listening in and reported the counts. There is a downtick in the passenger count today but an uptick in the crew count. Makes for a good pax/crew ratio at least. Here are the numbers for QM2's departure from Southampton this evening on her westbound crossing to New York via Le Havre. QM2 - September 15, 2022: 1719 pax; 1265 crew; pax/crew: 1.36 That works out to ≈64% of her 2695 lower berth passenger capacity.
  23. Yes I have. It don't know the date of marinetraffic's image but it does looks like a pretty good likeness to QA there.
  24. Cunard has today updated the list of voyages with observed pre-cruise testing requirements beyond those previously announced with departure dates in September. That list can be found on their Vaccination and testing requirements for your voyage page. Voyages with additional requirements. Voyage code Departure date Ship M229F 16 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M230 23 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M230A 23 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M230B 23 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M230C 23 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M231 30 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M231B 30 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M231A 30 September 2022 Queen Mary 2 M236 13 November 2022 Queen Mary 2 M236A 13 November 2022 Queen Mary 2 M236B 13 November 2022 Queen Mary 2 M237 20 November 2022 Queen Mary 2 M237A 20 November 2022 Queen Mary 2 M240 15 December 2022 Queen Mary 2 M240A 15 December 2022 Queen Mary 2 M240B 15 December 2022 Queen Mary 2 M301 22 December 2022 Queen Mary 2 M301A 22 December 2022 Queen Mary 2 Q229A 03 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q229B 03 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q229C 03 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q230 10 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q230A 10 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q230B 10 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q231 30 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q231A 30 October 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q231B 07 November 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q231C 07 November 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q232 15 November 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q232A 15 November 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q233 02 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q234 13 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q234A 13 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q235 15 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q235A 15 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth Q301 22 December 2022 Queen Elizabeth
  25. Thank you both for correcting my blunder. That's what I get for believing a post on facebook! I really should have been more careful. There are at least three things wrong with the identification of "A" as being Queen Anne. 1) That vessel A is clearly "Sailing Yacht A" as shown by displaying the details in marinetraffic. 2) A ship at Queen Anne's stage of construction is unlikely to have a functioning AIS transmitter. 3) News reports have Queen Anne being constructed at Fincantieri Monfalcone, not Fincantieri Tieste, which places Queen Anne about 15 statute miles NW of Trieste. Close, but no cigar.
