  1. Yes, but this is MORE than 48 hrs. prior to the excursion.
  2. I had wondered at the way the notice of cancellation policy was worded initially. It seems it could apply to the port of embarkation OR the port of the actual excursion. At any rate, this is way more than the stated time for cancellation becoming nonrefundable per Celebrity's latest announcement on this.
  3. I do not check off any areas of concern nor list any medications. That would be inviting a sales pitch. I simply say I'm not interested in buying any products. BTW is there no access to showers and sauna on E class ships? I love the giant walk in showers in S class spas
  4. Dining room menus changed nightly, but some dishes are available every night. Just ask for a table for two when you arrive at the dining room. Dining rooms are all table service. There is a separate buffet on an upper deck. Menus are in the app for your cruise. These will not be accurate until you are actually on the ship, but a look at current menus will be helpful. You can download the app before boarding. Breakfast is available in the dining rooms each day and lunch each sea day. Buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday.
  5. The so called "Retreat Host" is a cabin steward, nothing else. They are employed by and report to Housekeeping, not the Retreat. We met our steward's Housekeeping supervisor by chance on last cruise or I would not have known this. We actually spoke with him more than once, so it is very clear the "Retreat Host" is a cabin steward, and not member of the so called "Retreat team". Ours couldn't possibly have done anything our butlers used to do. He was a fine cabin steward but was literally RUNNING every time we saw him. So overworked.
  6. I have read the Mer Soleil is only to be sold by the bottle. It will be very interesting if you can get a glass at any price.
  7. I think Jelayne is correct, That just means no drinks that are above the premium price will be served in the Retreat Lounge.
  8. Thanks so much for the current experience.
  9. Two days ago, someone posted a supposed new menu from WCB which showed Azteca at $17, Today someone else posted she was charged $19 for Azteca just a day ago. Can anyone tell me if there are ANY drinks still covered in Premium pkg. at WCB? I could do with El Don Julie and Banana Republic if those are still covered. I know my Zacapa is now not covered on Premium pkg. , which now is obviously NOT so premium!
  10. What ship? That is totally unacceptable! They have always removed everything on hangers for ALL classes of cabins.
  11. Good for you! We won't board until Jan. 18. I hope you can post something about your experience before we leave on Jan. 17. We will give a good look at menus vs. app on our cruise.
  12. I see the new lunch and dinner menus posted are a set price, not ala carte. I hope these are not in place for my Jan. cruise.
  13. NC Fred- Apparently the list X sent you is out of date. Decoy and Conundrum are now $19 per several people currently on board different ships. However, if I were cruising soon and had this list, I would print it and take with, just to see what response I might get on board.
  14. Thanks for the latest on WCB. At least you didn't have to sign anything! Did you notice if any other WCB drinks were still $17?
  15. Since you are going to the Retreat lounge for drinks, could you ask if A. they have Mer Soliel by the glass, and B, if so what is the price?
  16. So, you are saying that NOTHING at WCB is covered with Premium package?
  17. My disappointment is that I paid for a Lexus and X is delivering a Chevy.
  18. On another thread I read that World Class Bars still have some of their special drinks at $17. However, the Zacapa Old Fashioned was listed at $19. On yet another thread someone posted that all WCB drinks were over the $17 limit. Anyone else able to clarify about WCB drinks?
  19. Unbelievable! And now you can pay extra money for the drink you like, as it is no longer covered in your "Premium" drink plan.
  20. Not much point to paying more to upgrade as almost all wines and many liquor favorites are now over the $17 limit.
  21. Since you are in a suite, would you please go to Michael's Club "Retreat Lounge" and find out if A. they have wines that are over the premium package limit price and B. are they charging for the difference in price?
  22. Don't care for Pina Coladas. What is in a Sunset Martini? I do like the fresca martinis. However, I don't care for the Martini Bar...too crowded.
  23. Elite Plus is 15% discount at all specialty restaurants. You should remind them BEFORE they bring the check. This is also true for the Spa discounts.
  24. My question also. I'm not aware that anyone currently on board in Retreat has actually said this happened.
