  1. Hello, I'm afraid your posting was a little too brief for me to understand. Are you saying what I said does not apply to NA PEOPLE (that is nearly what I said) or to NA ITINERARIES (such distinction/exclusion is not mentioned in the NextCruise presentation)? Regards, Cublet
  2. Hello, I am not disputing anything that has been written before, but am adding this for anyone reading this thread from this side of the pond. If you book on board, you can make any number of changes free of charge up to final payment date. Regards, Cublet
  3. Hello, My problem with fresh OJ on board is the lack of common sense of the server. Freshly squeezed OJ is poured into scalding hot glasses fresh from the dishwasher killing it dead in impact. The problem with the 'from concentrate' OJ is that it requires a 7:1 dilution and the person doing the diluting loses count part way through and you can have either orange coloured dishwater or something that will de-grease the ship's engines. I think we need to clarify the type of 'machine' one could bring. There's the manual squeezer/reamer as per the link in post #2 (not what I would term 'a machine'); There's the electric squeezer that looks, at its top, like the thing in post #2 but with an electric motor below turning the reamer activated by downward pressure; A machine where you drop in a whole orange and the orange is liquidised and filtered (to a degree) producing orange juice and an orange sludge. To my simple middle of the road kind of mind, there should be no problem with the first, and plenty with the third. I'm so middle of the road that I bring 2. above. It's all plastic apart from the motor. WJ knives are adequate to cut the oranges in half and two oranges produce a good sized glass per day. It has accompanied me on Cunard, Celebrity, Royal and MSC. I bring cellophane bags to take the pith and peel to the garbage. I have it first thing in the morning when I get out of the shower. As to 'going without' for a few days, I never cruise for less that 14 nights at a time and that does not count in my mind as a 'few days'. Regards, Cublet
  4. No, I am not confused. It was Eclipse out of Southampton from the start. Moreover from where I was usually sat, I could see into the kitchen and the cupboard where the small boxes were stored. Regards, Cublet
  5. Hello, What I miss from the 'Coffee House Style breakfast' are ordinary cereals, eg (my first preference) Special K. When or why they were dropped is either a mystery or 'covid' - the answer to a lot these days. Regards, Cublet
  6. Hello, Being part Italian myself, I find Tuscan Grille OK but not a patch on Murano though I've never lunched there only had dinner. To those in the UK and of a certain age, it reminds me of a Berni Inn which, if you know what you're going to get before you get there, is no bad thing. It is however far superior to Royal's Giovanni's Table/Kitchen. Regards, Cublet
  7. Hello, My local bus company 'enhanced' the service by moving from four departures per hour to three. Regards, Cublet
  8. Hello, Not being too picky, but I would call it a 'pub' with 'pub food' (and not even 'gastro-pub') and not what I would call a 'bar' - Champagne (R) Bar for example. It is usually heaving with sports fans if there is some sports showing on the TVs, many of them apparently deaf or close to. Regards, Cublet
  9. Hello, I didn't realise that the President of the Russian Federation had been 'given the chop'. Regards, Cublet
  10. Hello, OK so some years ago but the Navigator was using the gun to fill soda package souvenir cups - what they said they could not do was fill from cans/bottles. Regards, Cublet
  11. Hello, This side of the pond, Southampton, you leave the stuff suitably labelled with your 'hold luggage' and it is taken on board with your cases. Regards, Cublet
  12. Hello, I wonder what the PRECISE instruction to the weigher is. A young female removed an enormous backpack that could have held not only the kitchen sink but the whole kitchen, utility room and their appliances in order to be weighed. Once weighed, she put the backpack back on and entered the North Star. Regards, Cublet
  13. Hello, I find the dinner menus in CK on a very short cycle, 7 days I think compared to MDR 14 days. Even though the menu might repeat in total after 7 days, some items thereon seem to repeat every second or third day. The view FROM the Concierge Lounge is much better than the view OF the Concierge Lounge (Anthem). The furnishings are looking very tired. Regards, Cublet
  14. Hello, I can't wait to see the Coastal Kitchen menu changed. Not only changed but having a longer cycle - ie not repeating itself so frequently. Regards, Cublet
  15. Hello, If I book one of the Dining Packages, is there a restriction on the number of times I can return to the same venue? Regards, Cublet
  16. Hello, Seeing double? Yes, I'm doing a B2B on two 7night cruises to Norway - and why not? Anyone joining me? Regards, Cublet
  17. Hello, Anyone care to join me for a drink or two? Managed to bag a JS cheaper than a balcony! Regards, Cublet
  18. Hello, A tad early perhaps, but anybody else joining me? Regards, Cublet
  19. Oops! Sorry, posted this incorrectly to the main LGBT+ thread first. Hello, A double first! Not only the first for this roll call but the first Roll Call for Euribia - I had to call CC and ask them to add the ship to the fleet. But enough boasting - anyone else coming? Regards, Cublet
  20. Hello, Certainly erroneous pricing on Anthem ex Southampton 2024 to the Canaries - a GS is nearly £1000 less than a JS. Like many before, I had trouble paying (and thought that was their way to stop sales at the wrong rate). But, and this is Royal IT of course, after eventually paying by a debit card, the balance showing as 'remaining' has been reduced by the previous failed payments. Regards, Cublet
  21. Hello, So - first again. Anyone else joining me? Regards, Cublet
  22. Hello, A double first! Not only the first for this roll call but the first Roll Call for Euribia - I had to call CC and ask them to add the ship to the fleet. But enough boasting - anyone else coming? Regards, Cublet
  23. Hello, I can't say I'm the first to book on MSC's new Euribia, but I'm the first to try and start a Roll Call but CC doesn't have it listed in the fleet yet. Regards, Cublet
  24. Hello, It was the dining experience more than anything I was interested in. I'm doing a three night followed by a twelve night in April. Regards, Cublet
