I got back 2 days ago from a month in Hawaii. I’m very well informed as to land trip vs cruise.

$47 a day Canadian in tips definitely puts a check mark in the land trip column vs cruise in areas without a tipping culture.

Returning to Canada at the border or by the airline you were flying? I’ve had airlines check but never the border. The airline can’t read the details on the passport. -
We flew in last night, 30 mins before the order ended. 100% masked. I didn’t see a single person without one. There was even an Asian flight crew in hazmat suits 😳

Agreed. I’m aiming for 2025 too but not keen on O’s 2025. It seems more geared to repeat WC guests, which is great there is that option, but for us we’re looking for something a bit more mainstream and definitely the Med.

We booked the free MR cruise and now received the Caribbean one this morning. Free cruises raining from the sky.

Insides and bottom two categories of balconies are wait listed.

We’re up in Turtle Bay now for September. Love it up here. There’s the resort but there’s also a ton of condos on the golf course that will be a lot cheaper.

Looking at the website it doesn’t appear they’ve learnt anything about the size of the Royal class balconies. Ship looks great but we’re not interested in a shoebox for a deck.

Thanks for the wonderful review. We’re doing a land trip in April starting with a week in Hawaii. One night at the Hilton Tahiti and six at the Hilton Moorea. Can’t wait.

Thanks Jan. I was able to download it to iBooks as a PDF so I’m good. Question for you though…do the segments of grand voyages go on sale at the same time as the whole voyage or do they come out later like the world cruise? Thanks.

I just read the fine print at the online agency. It appears to have been pulled until they get a revised itinerary Please Note: In light of recent events, Xxxxxxxxx expects this itinerary to be modified to exclude Ukraine. Xxxxxxxxx will update the itinerary as soon as the revised itinerary is announced and we are not taking new bookings for the itinerary as currently shown. -

Hi, curious. They’re no longer on Royal’s site and gone from some online agencies but not all. Is this because of all the expected port changes because of Russia? Any insight? thanks.
