to c-boy and smixsell - You get in my face and I call security immediately and get your sorry bully asses thrown off the ship before it even sails. Think about that before taking matters in your bully hands. That is what security is for
-
count us in on the fifo - first in, first out except for the muster drill, then it's lifo - last in , first out.
we'll be there shortly after 10, which eliminates a 'stresser' - being parked, and in line. Better to be in line to get on with priority boarding, rather than still being 'on the way'.
-
alright, now let's discuss hat's and visors in the MDR for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. and by hat's I'm talking ballcaps
-
As long as the same credit card is registered onboard for both passengers you don’t need to do anything else
it is - and for the record, I just went into my Princess account and there is no option to designate it to one person or the other, just stated that it could be used by anyone on the booking - just me and m wife.
And everytime we have cruised, the accounts have been netted against each other at the end of the cruise. I "like" to have a balance under a $100 at the end and that is easily managed, and if not - meh...
-
If it's out of my account a couple weeks early, it's all good. That's why I go ahead and will prepay is so I've already got it planned for.

Don't use your debit card to guarantee your onboard account!!!
Unless you have a lot of money in your checking account.;)
Anything you spend on board is debited from your folio. When/if you run out of OBC, the computer will start dinging your credit or debit card. They get very upset, if your bank balance doesn't exceed your onboard charges.
Those pesky charges can add up. Since it's your first cruise, you'll be tempted to try everything. Photos when you board, in the MDR, at each port? Check.
Specialty dining? Check.
A drink here, a drink there, a bottle of wine with dinner? Uh Huh.
That really great t-shirt at the $10 sale? Can't live without it.
An excursion that you just have to take? There's still room for us, let's go!
Bingo? Casino? Gotta try it at least once.
Art auction? Did I just win that bid for that stupid painting?
Some get off the ship after spending more on the ship than the cruise cost. OUCH!!
If you're careful, you can leave without spending a dime, but almost no on manages to do that.
12th cruise with Princess - first without ANY OBC is all:evilsmile:

oh, there's benefits, believe me...
-
I understand if you want to use and reserve The Sanctuary facilities, you need to do that immediately upon arrival , even before going to your cabin or eating
-
I understand and agree - your wife will feel like she has the Beverage Package.
Totally got it - guess i'll just lose all that interest I would have earned on that $150 for a week or so
-
which means absolutely nothing to what I posted...
-
will use a debit card for this, so it comes out immediately - thus "already paid for"
-
I know it's more of a personal thing, but my wife will be more likely to order drinks, since "they have already been paid for" and not be on the final balance.
Happy wife, happy life -

That was meant as a guideline for what some posters have posted that they got. Never hurts to ask. Princess is taking a beating on this lack or ***** rollout. I'm sure the thread starter can get at least a few of these and also any price drops
-
I'm guessing with answers like that, no wonder you have 18,000+ points
-
Contact Princess Immediately - Explain nicely, but firmly how extremely disappointed your are about this situation. Ask for no cost grats, specialty dinner(s) cabin upgrade and to be put on waitlist for a medallion room. Don't take the first answer as a done deal - ask to be transferred to Customer Relations who are the real decision makers. Nice, but firm
-
We leave in about 2 weeks and this is the first cruise where we have NO OBC - bummer. It's just a little 5 day on the Crown, we did get a recent price drop and grats free.
I have the drink package, wife doesn't this time. I'm thinking about purchasing about $150 in general OBC to cover her drinks and incidentals. I guess my only concern would be if we didn't use it all, and that's not going to happen, and have credit left over, it would jut go back to my original form of payment, since it wasn't a use it or lose it credit

The rest of the cruise was just a big celebration! Especially enjoyed the last stop at Grand Turk and a visit to Jack's Shack!!! We absolutely love going to Jack's Shack and watching Topher swim and dig
Side note - the first time we went there my wife asked and was given a lounge chair for the sun. about an hour later, this little girl - who turned out to be Kenley, the granddaughter of Jack and Janet stated that was "her chair" - sure enough, it had her name on it. My wife and her became 'pinky promise' friends after that

well, why would it matter if it was before the AIBP ??
but now with the PBP and it's 15 alcoholic drink limit??
which brings up the question ... what is the drink limit if you are on a pay as you go - certainly not a "specific" number, but at the discretion of the server, amiright?
-
well, would like to do it the first at sea day - which will be the formal night - depending on if the menu in the MDR that night is anything special for formal night. Wonder when is the soonest we can see the menu for that night??
-
did you have a pre-cruise reservation in the Crown Grill or just able to walk in or make that morning?
-
What kind of 'prizes' do they give out? - i'm in if it's a free cruise
-
We did, but it was on a cruise that we have since cancelled and re-booked another. On the 2 day Regal Princess Medallion preview cruise, we booked and paid for a balcony and were put on a waitlist for an interior. We got the waitlist confirmation that we had gotten an interior and a credit appeared on our account in a couple of days. Good Luck
-
15 "drinks" over 15 hours?? - Bottled water, Specialty coffees, sodas, mocktails - not included in the 15 day drink limit.
and it all depends on how port intensive the cruise is, of course - and the length - we take mostly 4-5 day cruises lately...
-
Buy it ahead of time - price increases - just happened and we got the package at the old price, but still under the new terms.
Paid off pre-cruise - I've seen people at the pool bars getting rejected and having to go to guest services to see what was wrong and not being happy at all - why risk it?

Nothing rude about it at all. If security wants to get in my face, I have to deal with that - another passenger, not so much. what part of Appalachia are youz from ? and I too read the post about calling out people and asking if they were from NY - weak sauce,
