I would be SO mad getting those nachos too! When I first had them on Panorama in 2019 they were definitely a meal portion, and the tin can presentation was awesome. I hope you didn't pay for those,,,

I'm SO glad Carnival saved some of the best stairtower artwork from my beloved Ecstasy! Thank you so much for this and all of your awesome live threads, in my opinion you are right up there with @Jamman54, @sid_9169, @Saint Greg, and @MeganGC1983.The one downside to reading this at work is now I have to stop at the liquor store on the way home. They did that on Glory too, it makes the Conquest Class more like the Sunrise/Radiance, I'm not a fan. I do love those wheel of fortune slots though, lol

Woohoo!! I have a few friends sailng back to Florida with you. I hate that they removed the tiny chair that has always been in inside cabins. That's one thing I've always loved about Fantasy Class ships, all of the inside cabins have that little chair. It looks like they've scrubbed the teak decks, they look nice. I hope you have a wonderful sailing!

I thought the egg looked great! I've never been a fan of scrambled eggs on ships, no matter what cruise line.

I got into cruise ships when I was about 8 yrs old because I was obsessed with the old ocean liners. I can't wait to follow along on this one! Your Freedom live was wonderful too, thanks for taking the time to share this with us all.

The Fantasy is my favorite ship of all time, she took me to the Panama Canal for the first time in 2018. I sailed Ecstasy 6 times, with the last being her final revenue sailing last October. I chose Mardi Gras though, mainly because I've always wanted to sail in a classic ocean liner. For over 30 years I have imagined what it must have sounded like sailing her in rough seas, all the creaking from that beautiful woodwork must have been incredible!

On my first cruise in 1991 on Jubilee, I participated in the pie eating contest, which was right after the beer drining contest. I was 11 years old, and I remember that the recepticale that they used for the beer drinking came up past my shoulder.
