  1. Will our cabins be available if we board at 2pm?
  2. FYI, doesn’t work on an iPad either.
  3. We sailed in 6125 on the Millie in Feb. Cabin was quiet and it was a convenient location. The new “Hoppen” furniture is quite uncomfortable. We swapped the table and couch on the balcony and used the benches at the end of the bed as ottomans. We prefer the S class ships, but would select this cabin again if we were sailing on an M class.
  4. Wondering if anyone onboard any of the 4 ships can comment on the current Covid situation. We are reading many less than pleasant stories from some of the Celebrity and Princess ships currently in Alaska and Europe.
  5. We will be on the Apex this fall. Is there any shade up on the retreat sun deck? I think I have seen some pictures of umbrellas. It’s not great on the Equinox, but you can find a little shade depending on time of day and direction the ship is sailing.
  6. I got my first haircut on a cruise on the Millennium in Feb. It wasn’t the best or worst haircut I’ve ever received, but it was the best view! Wall of windows and the gorgeous water. Being an M class ship, there was only one stylist, so no chatty neighbors, or loud hair dryers. It was basically a private salon experience. Cost $85. We were trying to use up OBC, and I didn’t have to worry about squeezing it into a work schedule. I would do it again.
  7. I booked Eden for a Dec cruise months ago, but even though I selected OBC, it was charged to my credit card. Last week I saw the book your dining ahead of the cruise and save. “It will never be cheaper” or something like that was the tag line. I thought great, a chance to use up our large OBC. Cancelled the original booking. Rebooked and confirmed it was charged to OBC. I was very surprised to see the “discount” price was higher than the original booking because they added the 18%. It’s not the few dollars, as we usually tip in specialty dining. It’s the point of advertising a lower price that simply isn’t anymore.
  8. Have been on Equinox, Millennium, and Reflection with the aluminum water bottles. I read about funny tasting water and never experienced it until the last night on the Millennium. Our butler stocked the cabin with water as normal. Every bottle we opened that night smelled like chemicals/petroleum and was not drinkable. Besides the rough/sharp edges on the caps, it’s the only issue we had with the water.
  9. Could anyone post a drink menu with the included cocktails?
  10. I take a square of duct tape and 2 rubber bands to hold the button down. Doesn’t increase the power, but does hold the button down.
  11. Can anyone onboard provide the list of the included cocktails? Are the included wines Azamara branded, or other brands? Thanks!
  12. My brother handled the correspondence. The original request was pre CV. We were delayed for 2+ years. The original request went to an address provided by the Captains Club. As stated above, you toss the entire e envelope/urn. It requires a pretty strong push to get clear of the ship. air_sea_cci_web@celebritycruises.com
  13. We scattered ashes in April. Contact ship services with a written request. They will provide you an approval letter. You need all the items Jim-Iian mentioned as well as the approval letter. When you board, contact guest relations. They (special events coordinator) will collect all your paperwork and provide it to the ship’s environmental officer for approval. They will tell you the day and time for your burial. The environmental officer will be present. I always thought we would be on a low aft deck. Everything was arranged on deck 5, the Promenade deck forward. Celebrity provided a very thoughtful set up complete with flowers and white rose petals to scatter. The next day we received a certificate with the lat long of the burial location. We were thankful we could fulfill our parents final wishes.
  14. Highly recommend you do a small patch test with any new sunscreen AND expose it to the sun for a bit to test for allergies. I had a rather unpleasant allergic reaction to an all natural zinc oxide based reef safe sunscreen. Two weeks of red itchy bumpy skin, one of which was on a cruise, was no fun.
  15. We were on the Reflection in April with the premium package. We were willing to pay the up charge for a glass of Opulence Cab. We were made to feel like they were doing us a real favor by serving it to us. In Murano, the story was, “We will have it tomorrow.” No decent red wine in Michael’s. They were out of Decoy which was the best of the rest. The wine stewards always had a fistful of classic wines they were willing to pour, but premium reds by the glass were scarce.
  16. On our last Reflection cruise they were out of Decoy, out of Caymus, and Opulence Cab appeared to be rationed. We were having dinner in Murano, asked for Opulance, and were told they didn’t have it, but “would have it tomorrow.” And yes, when we requested these the sommelier suggested lower quality/priced wines. There was a shortage or higher end liquors as well. Someone on another thread thought perhaps Celebrity has changed suppliers which affects what they stock.
