  1. Don't know how many Paxs are involved or the itinerary. I've got 7 bookings sailing from Bayonne on Anthem and Symphony and the increases were within the ranges: Anthem 8 nights; February 9 ($12.43)--solo Anthem 7 nights; March 31 $7.55--solo 3 bookings on Anthem March 31, awaiting instructions from my TA Symphony 7 nights; October 13 $32.76--3 Paxs Symphony 7 nights; October 12 $10.92--solo. All have stops at Port Canaveral, Nassau and Coco Cay.
  2. On Oasis, there was staff in Boleros taking reservations. My understanding is that Royal maintains 25% for on bord bookings. Recommend that you do it as soon as you board. Also, you can go on a standby basis and 10-15 before performance they will allow you in assuming that there are seats available. For example, on my October 8 Oasis sail I couldn't get any reservations for the Adult Show. I went to the standby line and the line in essence was larger than the actual reservations line and subsequent late arrivals. At about 10 minutes prior, the entire standby was allowed in. The Blaze room is on an odd shape and includes a bar that one can sit and enjoy the performance. Ps. You may also be able to do it on the APP, upon boarding.
  3. Free ones done away with. I understand that you can order them via room service.
  4. The e-mails went out on July 21 affecting any sails to Bahamas beginning January 1 and a somewhat higher rate for Coco Cay. Unless there was a pre-payment, final payments were due on October 1.
  5. I sail mostly out of Bayonne. Taxes & fees for sails out of Bayonne have always been higher than others. Now with the Nassau/Coco Cay increased taxes it's making it worst. Example, my February 8 niter on Anthem taxes are $181.86, while my upcoming December 7 niter from Galveston is $138.42
  6. Can't recall if it a Oasis sail on August 20 or October 8 that the Solarium Bistro was closed every day for the Orthodox Hebrew faith. There was a large population on board.
  7. It's a combination of the loud engines, vibrations and the wind created by the moving vessel. I have the same problem sometimes when the Royal Captain makes his announcements, especially when one is at the pool. However, I can hear the CD loud and clear.😜
  8. Thanks, I've gone to BL many times and always direct. There are usually a mountain of Paxs waiting to board the shuttles/ferries.
  9. Late dining you should have no problem. As others have mentioned call Royal CS to change, otherwise do it as soon as you board by going to one of the mailer d at the mdr
  10. Some of the earliest articles that I've read indicates that this excursion was coming from Paradise Island. All of the Blue Lagoon excursions that I've taken were from the docks. Wondering if this was an independent excursion. In October, we took this excursion and going from the dock, the ferry/shuttle took the opens seas route we were bouncing a bit and had water spraying all over the front of the boat. This was not the standard route which we took on the return.
  11. Sorry, not available since I completed the survey. Too Bad. I was hoping that survey was only for Royal as some of the itineraries have become stale.
  12. Not sure if this has been addressed on this board. Interesting, some of the port of calls I've never heard of. Wonder if it also applies to Celebrity and SilverSea. https://royalcaribbean.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6MrTnhUkJZDOVkq?Q_DL=xJrZKDcRhEFX7Gt_6MrTnhUkJZDOVkq_CGC_CZZTMUcXYOyVyZT&Q_CHL=email
  13. What I found as true sales have been internet with multiple devices, lunches at SR, soda and refreshments packages. The dinner sales on SR occurred during Int'l Pasta Day and Halloween. I get e-mails with Black Friday sales but any mock booking on sails that I have done, I don't see any type of sales and or specials. Has anyone come across any?
  14. If you think the Odyssey is large and painful to get around, don't try any of the Oasis classes. To me the bigger the better as I enjoy roaming around.
  15. I thought he was commenting on the new Royal production "Columbus" on Harmony OTS.🤣
  16. @Ourusualbeach Speaking of promos and discounts I've been doing some mock bookings on 2025-2026 recently issued Caribbean schedules and having a problem applying solo supplement promo DP340. Message says invalid or not applicable. Do you know if it's an IT glitch or is Royal doing away with it. Ps. Mock bookings were outside of the blackout dates.
  17. There were 2 options. Small and large and were expensive then. Remember a small version on Portofino’s
  18. My sail was about a month earlier than yours out of Bayonne and there were 3 distinct questions and one of them was the status of your C shots.
  19. Really, that question was one of 3 health questions asked since the so-called end of the pandemic. Wonder if it's ship's specific or port of departure.
  20. On my October 8, Oasis in addition asked C shot(s).
  21. I did the 4 devices during the current sale and the 4th cost me $14 and the 3rd cost $35 for the week.
  22. Tomorrow is a tentative date for release of phase 1 Caribbean sails. Do we know what it encompasses.
  23. If I decide to cancel cruise prior to final payment date my risk is the deposit of $100 pp. Since I cruise solo therefore only $100 is at risk.
  24. That is the reason I primarily book on board as my exposure is only $100 pp.
