    I worked in a library and supported them. There are still people, esp. children, who don't have access to computers. Amazing, I know. But as far as a cruise ship I just find them a quiet place to go.

    Thanks. I never knew this. Makes a world of sense. Probably part of the reason they insist on Saigon and not HCMC.

    That should be the kiss of death for restaurants. There's The French Laundry in NorCal and many others. I'm guessing the chef's presence is rare.

    I can't remember if our guide said that one or two died from scooter accidents per day. We saw one body 😞

    Are you taking the train from Oslo to Bergen? It's supposed to be incredible. And Oslo and Bergen food is so good.

    Never thought about that. Our Medicare supplement is through USAA and our Pharmacy through CenterWell/Humana.

    Only reason you go on the cruise or only reason you go to that party? I spent time in the corporate world where cocktail parties were pretty much required. We 'smart' people would grab a glass of wine, work the rounds and leave. Different strokes.

    And to tag on: "its name changed from Saigon to Ho Chi Minh, the name of the communist revolutionary leader" Not a warm and fuzzy name, eh? Imagine it it in countries around the world. And, truly, I heard not a soul say anything but Saigon.
