  1. Completely wrong...... I don't care who you are you don't cut in line. Taking whole pizza's? ***** I have had people cut in front of me in the buffet, I say to them excuse me their is a line here and it starts behind me. Most of the time it's an honest mistake, people apologize and get in line. Some people look and pretend they don't know what you said
  2. Sorry you got injured... but come on, your in a natural environment and things happen. You know now to wear the proper shoes.
  3. These video's are Not from the Viva but they will give you an idea of what Vibe and the Thermal Spa are like. Vibe and Thermal are both sold as weekly passes, sometimes you can get a day pass to the Thermal on a port day. If the weather looks to be great all week get the Vibe, if not get the Thermal or splurge and get both if you can
  4. Best of luck on getting your passports back in time. They have been running 8-10 weeks out
  5. Looking at cruises in September going to Bermuda. Looks like the Meraviglia leaves on a Monday...UGH. Will be coming up the NJ TP across Staten Island into Brooklyn. Instead of dealing with the nightmare traffic on Monday morning we are thinking about staying in a hotel in Brooklyn Sunday night
  6. Like Charles said, if you have AT&T, Verizon, Xfinity just get a travel pass for the days you are there
  7. Thanks, not thrilled with a lack of NCL cruises in September to Bermuda. Now looking at MSC out of NYC
  8. If you are driving to the port you might want to consider bringing your own. My wife and I bring these... https://amzn.to/3KQMU4M They are light and easy to carry. Bringing your own chairs opens up more beach options if you want to sit in a chair
  9. Thinking about going to Bermuda on NCL the third week of October. We have been there 5 times in the past but always June - early September. I want to be able to sit on the beach and go in the water without being cold. Is that happening?
  10. Lots of Americans have no issues driving, renting scooters in Bermuda. I've been there 5 times on cruises. On EVERY cruise someone has not made it back because they got into an accident. Taxis and Busses are not expensive
  11. My people stayed in the Haven and all they brought me back are these funny shoes
  12. If the excursion heads south of Casteries your good, going north thru the city and beaches is a bear especially on a weekday
  13. How could I forget about the traffic Lol It was horrible, we ended up getting a full refund for our beach excursion. I've never seen so many angry people on a bus before. First we left 30 minutes late. Then it took us over and hour to go 5 miles, then they tell us you have 2 hours not almost 3.5. They told us we would be picked up at 2pm sharp. So everyone in our group.... about 35 people stood around in a parking lot until 3pm when they finally came back. I had just flagged down a cab when the bus pulled up. We were last in Casteries in February of 2018..... it has really turned into a dump. The amount of trash on the street, in the gutters in the small creeks is really unbelievable. We don't ever plan to go back
  14. Was there in January on the Getaway. Up unit about a week before sailing it send tendering which I knew was a mistake. We docked at 8am, and the EPIC arrived around Noon. Unfortunately we got the crappy dock which is usually used for cargo ships. Its the one next to the little shopping mall. Its a real cluster, everyone meets on the dock for excursions and their is not much room
  15. Taxis are great! And unless you need to buy food, or rent umbrellas or chairs I would skip I would skip the main area of Horseshoe. If its a nice day it will be jammed. Their are better area to go to. Warwick Long Bay, Jobson's Cove, Elsbeth Beach, Hidden Beach will all be less crowded and just as nice
  16. Google passport agencies near you. My son's passport was lost in a move a few months ago. He didn't realize it until a month before a trip to Slovenia. He able to get a passport in 5 days. It did cost him about $300
  17. No fuel is used in port? They just don't plug in to the power grid.
  18. The only time I got stopped with a drone was coming back on board the Escape. Going thru security they asked what I had. I told them, I was told to go to the side. Where two security people asked me a few questions and I was free to go. Then two bridge officers starting talking to me, both of them had a flew drones. We talked shop for about 10 minutes, long story short I ended up getting an invite to the bridge LOL
  19. Considering I've brought my drone on 6 cruises and water scooter on one cruise and neither has been confiscated I'm not too worried about my fan. You just have to know where to hid it 😁
  20. Bans like this need to be taken with a grain of salt.... then ignored
  21. I've done it, nothing like sitting bare assed naked on your balcony Lol
  22. I'll continue to bring my USB powered fan.... the rule is ridiculous
  23. Bingo..... On our last cruise my "Good" bid would have cost more than just booking the Haven Cabin directly, watch those prices
