There's no reason to not download the new app, because it doesnt' replace the old one. You can still use the old app if the new is installed. For me, the new app is just a design makeover of the old app. Same makers, definitely. And it's even less functional. Much more loading time - just like at the beginning of the old app. lol. Diamond Princess does not have a Thermal Suite like the other ships. There's the Izumi Japanese Bath instead. And I'm pretty sure it's not included for suite guests.

It truly depends on wind speed & direction / weather temperature / humidity etc. and what they burn at the moment. Its not only ship diesel, they burn thrash also from time to time. Mostly at night. I've never seen soot / smoke at the rear pool on Gem Class ships. But you will definitely find it on deck 17 at the basketball court. It can be a BBQ smnokehouse up there from time to time. 😁

Post covid, sauna and steam were gone on the Emerald. Absolutely. Notably the new paid sauna and steam (Thermal Spa on deck 15) is lousy. The Diamond still has free sauna and steam. But who knows what happens right now at her Singapore drydock... I agree.

I'm just wondering about your screenshot. If I make a screenshot of the web version www.cruisemapper.com, it shows some extra infos like destination, ETA, ship speed, weather / wind and even swell.

If it's the circle, it means the ship isn't moving at the moment. It's at anchor or at the pier. Triangle and path only show up when the ship is moving.

They miss Singapore as well. And continuing, they will mis Salalah (Oman) and Aqaba (Jordan), too. This is sad, so many extra sea days and only very few replacement ports. However, this must be a logistical nightmare for Princess.
