  1. And that costs us $110 PP PD which is already over priced
  2. My next cruise the price difference between a regular mini and a reserve mini is $110 Per Person Per day. That's more then enough extra for Princess to handle tipping. Tipping has gotten out of hand and it's usually we Americans that have caused other countries and crew to expect more and more tipping.
  3. I do it online. In the personalizer there is a place to mark robes in room. The web personalizer works perfectly but if you prefer to fight the app by all means do so.
  4. I would go to a dollar store and buy a bunch of decorations and a roll of tape. When they are out of their cabin go over the top to decorate their cabin to make it impressive.
  5. I can think of better ways to spend $10 so I picked mine up at the pier and it took less then 5 minutes.
  6. It was deck 6 mid ship Starboard side. It is a roped off section of the dining room. The entrance has a crew member who verifies you're in reserve class and then seats you.
  7. Now that everyone has posted and will buy these gift cards AARP or Princess will reduce the benefit or severely limit the number you can buy. Sometimes it pays to not advertise a perk because it gets taken away.
  8. The more people share how to minimize Princess' profit the more these perks will disappear. Let's not keep giving them ideas of what perks to take away.
  9. Having been in club class on the Caribbean Princess recently I can confirm it was deck 6 starboard side. It has a sign for club class only. People who try to enter are told to go to the port side for entrance to their dining room.
  10. Club class is reserve class now. It is a roped off section of the main dining room. Mini suite guests do NOT have club class/reserved dining unless they booked that section of mini suites mid deck 9 specifically and paid the extra. On the Caribbean Princess reserve class is in the Coral Dining room Deck 6
  11. How does this gloom and doom help the OP? The enroute number I have 800-545-0008 or 661-284-4410 Good Luck
  12. Like all other perks when people post about them it disappears due to it's own success.
  13. Disliked Sur La Mur so this is something new to try if it's priced right. If they move it to Sabitini's spot I will forgo any Sabitini's again because I hated the Sur location.
  14. It's the solution so no option. Call first thing in the morning when they open for the fastest hold time.
  15. It goes back on the gift card so save them after you use it because you need to access the funds again. If you tell them you threw the gift card away after you used it they will issue you a new GIFT card, they don't send a check. Been there, done that.
  16. Last month I did an Alaska cruise tour. I stayed at the Denali Wilderness lodge. It is spread out and they shuttles to get you from your building to the main lodge. It was too spread out for my liking. The restaurants were high priced but across the street were some nice eateries. The Mt Mckinley lodge is also spread out but not quite as much and also has a shuttle to get you around. The restaurants were good and reasonably priced. The biggest drawback was no WiFi in your room, only in the lobby of the main building. In Anchorage the Cooks Hotel was by far the nicest. The rooms were large and the restaurants good and coffee makers in the room. WiFi was also in your room.
  17. I cruised earlier this month and traded my mini bar out by calling room service.
  18. How does anyone know your budget or tolerance for expenses. You said you booked an interior to save money so what changed?
  19. They are not in the city they are COUNTY. Los Angeles is a very big county. If staying at the Doubletree Hotel in San Pedro they have complimentary shuttles to the pier.
  20. Last week they had only 2 puppies and only person at a time per puppy got to come into the piazza at a time and spend a minute or two petting the puppy. With over 2000 pax do the math if you aren't in the first 100 in line!
  21. The sky train is $6 for seniors and is at the airport and ends at Waterfront about 4 blocks from the pier. Cabs in Canada use a flat rate from airport to Canada Place and was about $30 Canadian dollars which is cheap for US after you convert
  22. Recently on the Discovery and many suite perks were missing. No more tote bags, no satin sleep bags, no Q-Tips, no bath salt crystals, no slippers and worst of all No Perrier water in the mini fridge, they substituted small bottles of some other water. I can't remember all the little perks that were gone. Reserve class was great and Sabitini breakfasts were top notch. Also being in a full suite we were invited to the 360 experience dinner which we liked.
  23. They had it last week on the Grand and the prize was a small blue notebook with the sea witch embossed on the cover. If you want to win a bottle of bubbly that's the prize in the Yes - No game
