  1. We are booked on her for August 9 - 23 so will try to discover as much information about Starlink and other upgrades during the dry dock.
  2. If you could see that sofware it probably stated 'designed in USA' 😂
  3. @skippy26 if you look at the image in post #2 you will see that the X80 stops at Terminal A. Without doubt it would be the cheapest option (less than €20 for 4 adults return trip. I don't know the child cost, but reckon a toddler would be free). The comfort for the seniors may be another question, but it is a short journey. There are seats but you need to be quick to get a seat. It is a few years since I docked at Terminal A, but it was a short walk to the bus stop. Remember to purchase your ticket before boarding the bus.
  4. It's bad. Made worse by trained staff shortages and the numbers of refugees and immigrants. (not a political statement but unfortunate facts)
  5. It has been raining here for the last week and forecast to continue through next week. Current temperature is 17°C/63°
  6. The very reason we celebrate St Patrick's Day!! The only snakes here are politicians!
  7. I haven't slept in days.....waiting for those cruises to post.....I want that free MDR dinner 😂
  8. Only intended as 'peace of mind'. Non of the check in agents work for HAL, so really they have no interest in your domicile.
  9. I think the only problem with HAL would be that you would be issued a different 'Mariner Number' for the US address and lose out on any benefits already accrued. Passport details are not required for making a booking and only for check in. But not all those living in US have US passports, so I do not see a problem there. At check in the agents are only checking that you have a valid passport, it is not an interrogation. As a fallbacky ou could send a mail (post) to yourself at the friend/relative's US address and ask them to mail you back the stamped envelope, which you could keep in your wallet as 'proof' of living at US address.
  10. OK here is my mediation attempt.......(If I have got some of the detail incorrect, I apologise) She is expecting increased orders for 2024, which is normal, as 2023 was her first year to have a focus on Easter. It is still early enough to advise potential customers of the situation and that she will be accepting orders, but they will be delivered early for self storage. You and she will have test tasted a batch made earlier to ascertain the 'shelf life' of the product. Obviously your wife will feel that the products are not her very best quality, so she will need to offer a discount to those who order on these terms. Perhaps even go as far as offering a discount for Easter 2025 product to those who accept the 2024 delivery conditions. This discount will be covered by you, so at no financial cost to your wife. You will just have to make your money work harder for you and get you out of the hole you have dug. You want your wife with you on the cruise, so this is the cost.
  11. whatever turns you on 😉🤣 I suppose that should really be: 'whatever rocks your boat' 😉 I was trying to work out which would possibly be the most vegan and none really filled that criteria.
  12. Only if you are going to 'The Friends of Bill W' afterwards. 😉
  13. I don't know why, but I keep getting mental flashes of a Roman Galley with a crew of vegan oarsmen. Is that ecologically friendly? hybrid? or just plain bonkers? 🤪
  14. wireless to what? There is no function available on the stateroom TV's. If you take a 'wifi adapter/transmitter' will you be able to access the USB/RCA sockets at the rear of the TV? Will even wired headphones work?
  15. @cbr663 Here is the pricing in Euro (which includes taxes and port fees) It is still possible to purchase HIA separately for 45 euro per day.
  16. I thought that may be the situation and that's why I put the term 'tennis shoes' in single quotes. Over here they are called trainers or runners. I just did not want someone to go and purchase a pair of clay court shoes and then expect to be sure footed on cobbles.
  17. and cobblestones get wet, and when they are wet they are very very slippy. I would not wear 'tennis shoes' as they have very flat soles with little grip (watch tennis players sliding their feet). Running shoes, Cross trainers would be a better choice. I wear Nike running shoes (grey or black) and DW wears Sketchers Walking shoes.
  18. Yes, true, times are mentioned for all the tour/transfer options but not for the direct transfer.
  19. OK so it is recommended to be at the airport by 9 am. I would prebook a taxi either through an agency such as Booking dot com or directly with a Copenhagen taxi company
  20. I am on same cruise as OP so I just checked the transfer options. It does not mention a cut off time during the booking process. OP's flight time was changed and I don't believe whe has posted the original timing or how far forwad the time change is. Finally, being very pedantic (sorry) it is not a domestic flight it is an intra schengen flight and CPH still recommend 2.5 hours.
  21. Is check in time 11.30 or flight departure time 11.30? Big difference. CPH (Copenhagen Airport website) recommends to check in 2.5 hours before scheduled departure time for all flights. https://www.cph.dk/en/practical/check-in However, disembarking from the ship at 8am and meeting a pre booked taxi would get you there in plenty of time. Cost about $80 (probably close to the cost of the HAL transfer for 2). I used booking dot com to get taxi price.
  22. I was aware that they went to Langelinie, but I think this is Oceankaj. Do they go to Oceankaj? Any ideal of the last time they call? Or do they call all day with departing cruisers too?
  23. I thought the offer of free MDR dinner was for Europe 2025 🫠
  24. Apologies! Only a slight thread hijack but are those Hop on - Hop off buses in the background?
