Aah, the good old days are back!

One of my functions on a cruise is to 'harvest' DW's breakfast from the lido and bring it to her on our (pre packed) tray. Then I get the benefit of a quiet breakfast. One of the joys of life (which I cherish!) We could eat on balcony but why should I give up one of my enjoyable cruise moments?

I remember someone posting recently that they could not 'upgrade' the HIA drink package onboard and only the stand alone Signature Beverage Package that could be upgraded. (can't find the source at the moment!). However, @cmrvancouver remember there are 'workarounds'. Purchase a beverage card to use for water/coffee etc so that you don't eat (drink??) into your 15 a day allowance. Pre purchase water/sodas etc on slow days (read embarkation day) and store in your room fridge. Then you can always pay the price difference +18% grat for any drink that is above the €11 limit.

We were there in 2015 on Zuiderdam, which was the 'old days' when Monaco had the first practice sesssion on Ascension Thursday, and then Friday was the Monegasque Holiday for the Ascension with no racing or practice followed by qualifying on Saturday. All changed last year.

Yes you could use public transport (get the Leap Visitor Card). That sounds like the 787 Dreamliner ok! Dreamliner has 3-3-3 configuration in economy whereas the A330 has 2-4-2.

I started to read the reviews but was getting no relevant information, so does anyone know if Oosterdam Verandah Staterooms (V-VH) still have tubs with the hand held shower set or have they been updated to individual shower stalls?
