  1. They don’t have many people sharing, so far I only shared a table one night. The other night I was in the main dining room they gave me a table for two between other guests who engaged in good conversations.
  2. I’ve been enjoying the cruise too. I agree the Concerto dinning room has great service and good food. Originally I had picked shared table but Princess switched it to a solo table. Tonight I am going to the Chef’s Table.
  3. When we boarded in Vancouver I noticed a giant waving hand on the bridge. The captain must have a great sense of humor. He walked through Concerto yesterday morning at breakfast to say hi to the passengers.
  4. I woke up early today and can see the Majestic docked out of my window. I can’t wait to board her today.
  5. July 16 B2B cruise, just received an update for this time change for the south bound portion of the cruise.
  6. The Hollywood Conservatory on the Majestic is one reason I choose her for my Alaskan cruise.
  7. My mom loved her obstructed ocean view on the Ruby earlier this year. It was convenient for her to get to dinner and no noise from the shops below.
  8. I’m looking forward to getting dressed ups few times on our Mediterranean cruise. DH will wear slacks, dress shirt and a tie, but no jacket.
  9. Can’t wait to read about your adventures, we’ll be doing this cruise in October.
  10. On the Majestic earlier this year my room steward was able to get me a robe that is dedicated to the suite level and it was thicker and larger. Then in April no such luck, just the one size fits all variety. I wish Princess would have size options available.
  11. I too want to thank you for the review of the dinning room. My DH is enjoying seeing all of the special food. Did your wife have to preorder the day before so the chef could prepare the food. He hasn't cruised in a while and that is what Princess had him do years ago. Great review of the ports, I'm taking a solo trip on the Majestic next month and really enjoy your perspective. Is the pool in the Hollywood Conservatory still maintained as an adult only pool while in Alaska? I enjoyed the peacefulness of the area in the mornings on a previous cruise.
  12. Looking forward to hearing about the pre cruise adventures, this is a bucket list location of mine. My DH is gluten free so I’m interested in hearing about the GF bread options. We usually bring some GF snacks and crackers with us to have in the cabin and for excursions too. Have a great trip.
  13. I bought the bracelet for a previous cruise but it was too small and I forgot to pack it. Do you think I would be able to exchange it for a larger size on my next cruise, it is still in the original box.
  14. If they taste as good as the sugar -free coconut cake offered in the dining room then your up for a treat.
  15. Great to know that there is a Global Entry lane for CBP. I always enjoy the privilege of going through customs in Canada before catching a flight back to the US. I think it is a nice perk that CBP provides. This will be my first time cruising from Canada, so I hope all goes smoothly.
  16. If a specialty restaurant is a must then I would call Princess to work this out before your cruise. My last cruise so many people had a free meal in a specialty restaurant very little was left by embarkation day at the crown on the Ruby.
  17. Another vote for the noodle bar on the pool deck. It was a great change of pace from the regular pool deck choices.
  18. We picked up the emed 6 pack too. So far they have been the most convenient for us to use.
