ooo....not too happy to hear that, and so sorry for your incovenience/loss on your March cruise. We're on for a Feb. Caribbean number on the Grandeur. I'd be horrified to hear that was cancelled as we'll be with friends who we are so looking forward to seeing. I would think Regent could do alot better than a mesily credit...not even a good one. Keep us posted on how you make out........

I have a an iphone, but it's a love/hate affair for me. Yes, they're useful for somethings, but I hate needing to carry it all over with me. For the most part, I lock mine in the safe once I'm onboard. As Dave mentioned, there are computer terminals that are available to us and I use them, not my phone. Lots easier to type on for an old lady....hahaha! And yes, a program is delivered to your cabin each evening....you don't need your phone.

As I said, we're in the bottom bottom...haha! G2...it's small but totally functional as we've been in one before. Even if we don't move, we'll make do as we're on the cruise with friends. However a little something would be welcome! We'll see what happens! Fingers crossed!!!

And speaking of GTYs, has anyone actually gotten a better cabin, up from the guarantee? We're in a bottom bottom of a seriously waitlisted cruise. Any hope for something a little better? Certainly not expecting a suite, but maybe a little something?

And we think it's actually pretty nice.....you can actually drink it!

Although I've been following along, I haven't said THANK YOU! for the excellent account of your cruise. We enjoy all of the Regent ships, different reasons for all, but we find the little Navigator particularly charming. Hope you felt the same. Safe travels home....

Thank you all for your input. Looks like it's going to be nippy no matter when we go! We've got plenty of cold weather/foul weather gear, so we can be prepared!

In the port of Sydney, within the cruise terminal is a large pavilion which is usually loaded with fine craftsman's wares. It's one of my favorite places to shop in Nova Scotia/Cape Breton. All quality made items, no junk, no tee shirts, etc. Right next to the "big fiddle"!

Considering the Dawn's North Cape in '24.Mid June or September? Any info? Advice? Thoughts?

I know there is a smattering of cruises listed on the Regent website, but most are Asian itineraries or bits and pieces of "Grand Voyages". Does anyone know when "the rest" of '25 might come online? Thinking Med and Northern Europe....

While we're in passport mode, I've got another question. In the past there has always been a request to have your passport valid for 6 months past the end of your trip. Is this still in effect? We've got a cruise on the Grandeur in mid April and my passport expires in mid August. Do I need to renew it now? Have upcoming cruises in Sept. and Feb, '24. I'd need to do it now, if I must renew. Thanks in advance

Absolutely! Have been in that situation before. Have never had that person turned away. Would’ve been terribly bad form if they were.

They do a fabulous job with laundry! A real treat! we think it’s the best perk any line can give!

Can we send out things to just have pressed (ex. slacks, etc) that don't really need to be washed? Or is there a separate charge for pressing?

And I almost feel guilty about asking for this on the "wish list"....a true first world problem....(giggle!) Please re-do the Queen's grill bar....it's been the same, exact thing since the very first time we cruised her , back in the dim dawn of time. It's definately the most boring bar on the ship. I realize that logistics come into play, but isn't there some bright ship's architect who could come up with something better? Please???!!!!!
