  1. This is my husband’s problem as well. I have called/chatted/emailed. Told they are “working on it.” Just how hard can it be?
  2. Is my Medallion Net order tied to my Ocean Medallion? They've already shipped my medallion. If I opt to upgrade now to the 4 device Medallion Net plan will it be recognized on the ship, or will I have to spend time at customer service/Ocean Navigators getting it to work? Thought Id ask the people who know things before I try chat. 😊
  3. Refared after final payment on 8/25. Credit to my CC by mid September.
  4. When we cruised in May we selected the same time (6pm) and same dining room for dinner each night. We were given the same table every night, in fact we just walked to our table as we did with TD. I far preferred this, as the previous 5pm dining time for TD was too early for us. Hopefully this experience will be the same when we cruise In October
  5. I used askoceanmedallion@carnival.com, but I deliberately left off my booking #s so that they had to email me back to get the info…(and I would know that they saw my email) 😁
  6. As I said, mine showed the discounted rate, but my husband's did not Turns out his platinum status was not attached to the app. If you still don't see the 50% off check on that .
  7. I have to report that the Ask Ocean Medallion people are getting much better at responding in a timely manner. Emailed them 3 hrs ago about my issue, and they’ve already responded. Unfortunately they can’t fix my husband’s loyalty status, but it’s already been referred to the higher tier tech team. 🤞
  8. Ooh… but I can upgrade to a 4 device plan!! Thank you for the idea!!
  9. Huh. That would have been smart! Unfortunately when I saw mine at the discount I simply ordered it assuming his would also be ok. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  10. It does, and I’ve already emailed the App people.
  11. It’s 50% off for me as well now, but not for my husband. I think I’ve figured out they the app doesn’t have him as platinum. I wonder how long that will take to fix?!
  12. Well, this is interesting. My account says 50% off, so I went ahead and purchased it. My husband's still says full price...
  13. I’m cruising in January. Cost is $29 pp and transfer is only to IAH not Hobby. You can do a mock booking, and it will ask you if you want a transfer, so you can double check price for your cruise
  14. In addition to the MDR you also have the International Cafe, the Horizon Court Buffet, The Salty Dog Grill, Slice Pizzeria, and Coffee & Cones if you want an ice cream treat afterwards. 😁
  15. We disembarked on May 10 with a refundable OBC of $100. I finally emailed customer relations last month. Received our check in the mail this week.
  16. We take BART into the city, then it’s maybe a 10 minute walk to the SF Hilton in the financial district (which is really right by Chinatown so that’s fun) then it’s maybe a 15 minute walk to the pier from the hotel. But we only bring carry on luggage so it’s easy to walk.
  17. I can’t speak to the antigen test as we have always done PCR, however on our May cruise to Alaska Princess said 3 days for PCR and Canada said 72 hrs. At that point in time, we were told we were to follow what Princess (who was following CDC rules) said, not Canada, and indeed we boarded with tests taken more than 72 hours previously. No one cared.
  18. Good to know that you were just told to show up. Thanks!
  19. I agree with you. But https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise Contains both: On this page Vaccination requirements Entering Canada by land or air before embarking on a cruise Boarding cruises and shore excursions Providing proof of vaccination Pre-embarkation COVID-19 testing (which says you must test) If you test positive or have symptoms of COVID-19 on your cruise Advice for planning cruise ship travel Vaccination requirements To embark on a cruise ship that will start, dock or end in Canada, if you’re 12 years of age or older, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with very few exceptions. Note: many cruise lines require vaccination for children 5 years and older. And Check if you qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller which leads you back to the same page I referenced before. (which says you don't have to) Hopefully it's clearer before I head up there.
  20. And yet... https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada#determine-fully Scroll down to: Pre-entry testing is not required
  21. Thank you for all your answers. I’ll try calling Monday morning, and when that doesn’t do me any good, I’ll just show up!!
  22. Anyone have a direct phone number for the Medallion Net people? For whatever reason I can’t pick a boarding time…tells me no groups are available…while my roll call tells me the times have opened up. Thanks
