  1. Sorry. We just reserve Junior Suites and you don't even have to wait in that long line. There is a Suite line to the right, (with a sign) they will open the rail for you, and there is a suite check in, behind the tent. 3 sailings on Navigator. It's not a brag, we just reserve JS anymore, and it does come with priority boarding, even at San Pedro.
  2. I received the Community Survey a couple of years ago. This year they sent a (thankfully) shorter one about education and student debt. They mentioned sending another one next year as a follow up. The Community Survey is very long and you're right, rather intrusive.
  3. 1 (800) 256-6649 Just push the number to book a new cruise. Someone will answer, and hopefully they can assist you.
  4. Maybe I am not understanding something? Isn't 2,162 a lot more than 1,547? Edit: Never mind, I see that you are counting total numbers, not just Gold. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  5. I don't think so. You have always been a very thin gentleman. I hope we get to see some photos and a narrative from your sailing. Your trip reports are always so enjoyable! โ˜บ๏ธ
  6. He still wouldn't be able to board in a US port.
  7. You should try an e-reader. Paperwhite Kindle or an e-reader Nook. They are just about the size of a paperback, you can adjust the text size, and there is no screen glare. I resisted for a long time, but I love my e-reader and can have a whole library in something that will fit in my purse. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  8. Is the Lime & Coconut bar the former Sky Bar or just the Pool Bar? I have yet to figure that out. ๐Ÿ˜„
  9. When we came from Australia to Hawaii, we were still off by 9:30, so there wasn't really any delay. And I don't really remember one from our TA. I think we were off by 10, with regular disembarkation in FLL, with a noon flight.
  10. Sometimes a little bit of a delay. It is hard to say how much of one. The ship will just be arriving in the US from a foreign country after an extended stay, so the crew and facilities will be subjected to a mandatory Coast Guard, Immigration and Health inspection. They may still have express walk off, so I would do that if you can.
  11. We hardly ever have interesting weather like that, either. โ˜บ๏ธ The floors are in. I am just terrified of messing them up before we sell the house and have rugs everywhere. They look very nice. I forgot to take photos before we put rugs everywhere.
  12. WOW! You have the most amazing looking skunks in Virginia, Jim! I have never seen a skunk (or even a photo) of a skunk that looks like that. Not a mostly all white one. Ours are the classic black & white striped ones. Like Pepe le Pew. โ˜บ๏ธ That's fascinating. Thanks!
  13. Totally unrelated to any recent posts, but they are starting on the new flooring installation tomorrow. ๐Ÿ˜Š It seems really exciting, until you consider the reality of how much stuff needs to be moved/put somewhere else. The loveseat is gone. Two cabinet end tables are gone. The sofa is on the front porch and will remain there until we have enough stuff for a bulky waste pickup. We're not even doing the bedrooms. We are going to keep them carpeted. Living room, kitchen, and hall. It has been 3 weeks of moving stuff, packing stuff and getting rid of stuff. Bobby and I will hang out in the master bedroom. ๐Ÿ™„
  14. A coworker has fixed in place, decorative wooden shutters on the front windows of his house. One day, he was hosing them off, and all of these soaking wet little brown bats came climbing out between the slats. They had no idea and had never even noticed them before. He just left them, and hoses them more frequently, to make it not a good roosting spot. โ˜บ๏ธ That's a chubby bat on your screen, Greg. Maybe he (or she) has been eating well. ๐Ÿ˜„
  15. Yes! It was very, very good. I love chocolate. Thanks again. โ˜บ๏ธ
  16. That's a bummer Greg. Unless you are totally incapacitated, it is hard to make these things work out sometimes. And knees are definitely harder than hips.
  17. @HBE4 It looks like a wonderful getaway. Beautiful view! Very rustic though. It looks like you had a nice time. I guess we are fortunate. Everyone keeps calling our other house a cabin. But it is actually a house that is even larger than our present home. I wish we were on a lake though. There is only a stocked ditch for fishing.
  18. They like snacks. We had a bartender that we chatted with quite a bit. At the last port, he mentioned that he was getting off at the last port to get snacks. On the last night we asked if he had gotten his snacks? He said no, he got busy. We always bring a lot of snacks. We had unopened Pringles, bags of Peppermint Patties, I think Reese's, KitKats and some other stuff. Unopened or individually wrapped. He was delighted. Comment was "I love chocolate!" We don't bring snacks for them specifically. But if it works out, it does. We also tip generously.
