Twenty years ago I was at an Advertising Trade Show. There was a guy there offering free cruises to anyone agreeing to try a product that he perfected ,no cost .I walked away as did many other people. The President of the company I worked for accepted the offer and it was a truly free cruise .His only cost was traveling from his residence in NJ to Fla.

  15. One of my very best cruises was on a Cunard ship in 1973. Entertainment was A+ .The entertainment on todays cruises is generally singers and comedians that are unknown. The entertainers on the 1973 cruise were superstars. There were no towel hogs by the pool. The day we boarded the ship there were Bon Voyage parties for friends and family.
  16. I have been telling people for years that I was never in a suite on a ship. Recently I was going through a crate of collectibles in my house and I found a piece of stationery from an HAL cruise in 2010 stating that I was in a suite .However,it was just a cabin with a sofa and a table next to the bed.
