    I was on a cruise 50 + years ago that actually sailed through the Bermuda Triangle.The water was very smooth ,the sun was shining when seemingly all of a sudden it began to storm and the water was not at all calm.Every passenger and crew member including the ships Doctor became sick

    Enjoy your trip.I have never been to Italy but worked for a company 25 years where 90% of the employees were born in Italy .Over the 25 years I heard so many stories and saw so many photographs that it was almost like being there.

    I worked around the corner from Gramercy Tavern for 25 years and went to lunch there at least once a week.

    In 2018 we were on a Caribbean cruise with 8 port stops.We did the cruise because it had stops in the ABC islands.We had never been to Bonaire before and always wanted to go there. We have been to Aruba and Curaçao several times and they are two of our favorite places to visit.

    The only conversation I ever had with a CD was on the Grandeur in 2015.He happened to mention that he was a graduate of Boston University. I said that I knew several alum of the college.He replied that it was not likely that he knew any.He did not know the first 4 but number 5 was his roommate.This led to a long conversation.

    We did a NYC to New England and Canada in October 2013.It was a great cruise,2 nights in Quebec City,other ports were Prince Edward Island ,St.John’s,NB,Halifax,NS,Portland.ME and a tender port in ME. We have never been to Europe but everyone we know who has been to Italy raves about the country.

    I too have spinal stenosis in addition to neuropathy.I have in home PT twice a week.I have not tried a power chair on a cruise.That is something to think about.

    Yes,due to the neuropathy I often find myself unable to walk because both feet tend to get numb at the same time.I have not been on a cruise since December 2019 because on that cruise I spent the majority of time in the cabin .

    On a cruise in 2018 ,all on the same evening I spied the following: A retired NBA player dressed in sweat pants,an actor in tennis shorts and a guy with a lap top wearing shorts all in the MDR. A guy wearing sandals was told that he could not be seated.

    Many years ago I worked with a guy who did not pack anything for cruises. He only cruised in the summer and when he arrived at the first port stop he bought clothes for the entire cruise.He disposed of the clothing at the last port with the exception of what he needed for the last sea days .

    If you love gelato and ate vegan a friend of mine perfected an all vegan gelato .It is Genuto .

    Yesterday I played the British version of Monopoly with my oldest daughter and youngest granddaughter.

    I have heard many people on cruises referring to a ship as a boat and never heard anyone take exception.
