  1. Our butler brought us a stepping stool for our CS, but it took up much too much space so we had him remove it. I agree with Phoenix dream, " does Celebrity feel people think bathtubs are a plus"? Maybe if there are young children in the cabin, but most suites (SS and up) do not have children especially on Celebrity. One would think this problem would have been corrected on the new builds of the E-class.
  2. Thanks Jim. Our last 2 cruises on the Summit were in a CS. Next May, we have a SS on the Summit. I certainly hope that works much better. On the wait list for a RS--just wondering if that will ever materialize??
  3. Does this mean that there isn't a jacuzzi on the tub in a SS? No jacuzzi means no controls on the side of the tub🙂. This makes it a little easier to get into for a shower. Those annoying controls in the CS are awful ☹️and as everyone says "an accident waiting to happen, especially for short people.
  4. Thank you ---I just found it--good activity for this cold snowy afternoon. Happy Holidays!
  5. We did not get the recent new PUP promotion. Any reason why some people get them and others do not?
  6. Why didn't Celebrity address this problem when they did all of the upgrades when they revolutionized the ship in 2019? At least grab bars could have been added for safety????? CELEBRITY PLEASE LISTEN AND ADD THOSE GRAB BARS FOR SAFETY!
  7. I am short. How high is the tub/shower in the sky suite on the Summit? Does the tub/shower have a jacuzzi? Would I have to climb over the controls? Are there any grab bars? We have been in a CS and the tub/shower was an accident waiting to happen without any grab bars.
  8. Looking for information on the SS on the Summit post revolutionized. Does the tub/shower have high sides, controls for jacuzzi and no grab bars? We have been in the CS and the tub/shower is an accident waiting to happen. This should have been addressed when all of the upgrades and improvements were made in 2019.
  9. Thank you to all for your comments. This was very helpful for our B/B/B next year.
  10. If you are in the same cabin, do you tip individually or just at the end assuming you have the cabin attendants?
  11. We had that cabin in May. I agree with everything you said. The bathroom tub is an accident waiting to happen with that tub and no grab bars. It is much too high and dangerous.
  12. Yes, Hilario is wonderful. We also had him as our butler on the Beyond.
  13. FBrew--What yearly policy do you buy? Since this is our 3rd cruise this year, maybe an annual policy would have been better than three separate ones from Celebrity?? As we are getting older, a good medical policy is always something to consider. Anyone else have an annual policy? Which ones?
  14. We also were on the inaugural B/B Edge cruise in 2013. Maybe we met. Looking forward to meeting you again.
  15. Just checked again and the OBC for stock was posted yesterday. Just another thing to cross off my list before we cruise on the Beyond.
  16. In the past our credit has always been posted prior to boarding--just not this time. Your idea is perfect so I will follow up day 2.
  17. Interesting reading all of the comments. For our cruise coming up at the end of October, we submitted all requirements, got an email stating that it had been received. Next, we got another email stating that the amount would be credited, but would not show up on our planner until we are on the ship. This is not how it has worked for us in the past. When did this change take place? Has anyone else had this issue? Evelyn
  18. Yes, a separate line for suite guests in Bayonne.
  19. Jim, Thanks for your review of the Summit. We were on a Summit May cruise and August 7, but did not get to meet you and Ian. The food in Luminae was excellent on both cruises-- better than our dinner in Tuscan. I had to send my veal dinner back & it was replaced with a steak. We were in a CS on both cruises and the tub is an accident waiting to happen. Celerity needs to put some grab bars in the tub area. We were lucky that the seas were calm & smooth on both cruises. I am very short and it was a challenge to get in and out of the tub. Most of the staff and crew were excellent and knew us by name. Our next cruise will be on the Beyond. I am wondering how that experience will be in comparison to the Summit. Happy Cruising. I hope we will meet you in the future.
  20. Where is the Riverside Hotel? Where is the Sonesta? We are looking to stay two nights after a cruise so we can see some Florida family and friends. Prices are up for everything now.
  21. In the past -before covid--we have stayed many times at the Spring Garden Suites in Dania Beach. The location was perfect. The last time there is 2019, the rooms were tired with not everything even working properly. Now, looking for something in that area with walking distance to restaurants or shopping. Any suggestions?
  22. We were in #8104 on the Summit May, 2022. It is a wonderful cabin & very quiet. We never heard the people in the adjoining cabin. As the poster said, "the tub is very high and getting in can be a challenge." We only had 2 chairs on the balcony. It was too narrow for a chaise lounge.
