I prefer the Windjammer for both breakfast and lunch. I find these meals in the dining room go heavy on the bread. I prefer lots of protein, fruit, and veggies for breakfast and lunch. I also prefer to choose my own portion sizes. Just my preference.

I've been through this, also. The prices online are new bookings only, and if you have an existing booking, they price it without some of the promos. When you call and enquire, ask for specifics of what you cannot get. If it's more than $100 difference, I tell them I want to cancel and rebook.

Only you can truly define your comfort zone. Here's mine: I have been vaccinated twice and boostered twice. I know my cabin has been thoroughly sanitized before I got on the ship, because in the last 3 months I have been on 10 b2b cruises on 3 ships. I've seen what they do on turnaround day. I wear a mask in airports and airplanes. That's all day if I'm flying from CA to FL. I take it off to eat or drink. I sit next to the window on the plane, if I can. I also know the daily cleaning is best for me, because all the surfaces are cleaned, the bathroom is sanitized, and the carpets are vacuumed. I use hand sanitizer liberally when I come back in the cabin. I wear a mask when I'm walking around the ship, and only take it off to eat or drink. I keep the mask on when I'm in port in crowded outdoor situations, and always indoors. I know this is working, because with 10 cruises since mid-February, I have tested negative for COVID 13 times (they stopped testing on b2b cruises in early May).

Thank you, thank you, thank you, my friend! I've spent a lot of time looking for this kind of service. I'm am going to have to give my procrastinating son my last two BinaxNOW test kits if he doesn't get moving on ordering more for himself. Plus, I just ordered more of the government freebies, so having a proctored test service that works with them is wonderful! Coralc rocks!!

I was on the Navi from 4/27 - 5/13, and that included all the itineraries. The number of passengers fluctuated from 900 - 3,000. However, the 3,000 cruise was over Mother's Day weekend. I would NOT recommend a 3-day holiday weekend cruise, and not because of the crowds. The ship is plenty large that you don't feel crushed (except maybe on the pool deck). But, it was party central, for sure. I'm OK with that, but when you have 1-3 Alpha calls (medical emergency) per DAY, with a large portion of the passengers under the age of 40.....well, draw your own conclusions. Also, on debarkation day on 5/9, I was unfortunate enough to witness a young woman being escorted into the elevator lobby in handcuffs. With 6 security and port authority officers. So, the remainder of my cruises were fabulous. I love the Navi, the food was excellent in the Windjammer, Main Dining Room, and specialty restaurants. Crew is great, too. Ensenada is meh. Read reviews before you buy shore excursions in Ensenada. Catalina is gorgeous, and I always love Cabo San Lucas. We were told by the onboard booking staff that they will start more 7 night Mexico cruises next year, too.

When I took my proctored BinaxNOW test in late April, they made me show them the box was sealed, and then asked me to open it.

Me? I would get embarrassed if I asked and they said no. Especially if they already knew me from the previous cruise. I would hear this unspoken echo of "you idiot" inside my head. 😁

Slightly off topic: When you are through with the re-embarkation and free to go about the ship, you CAN go back to your cabin. I did this on the Navigator, Vision, and Jewel over the last 3 months. The doors are not locked, and you just tell any crew members you are b2b. I usually spent the morning in my cabin until lunch was served.

When the new cruise would open up, I would just use the user name and password I formerly used, but did this as if I was setting up a new account. But, I was in the same cabin for all 4 of my consecutive cruises. If it already recognized me, I would be prompted not to set up a new account, but to just sign in. Or, it would accept my old info as starting the new account on the new cruise.

Yes, you can, but it depends on when Customer Service closes your account from the previous cruise. I noticed on turnaround day (I was on the Navi for a 4b2b) that my wifi was good until about 10am. Then, I could sign up again. But, with drinks might work on the date, not the account closing. I advise you to talk to either Customer Service or the Loyalty Ambassador to see what the cut-off is on turnaround day.

Good suggestions! I also download Kindle books from my library. It's just I prefer to take my own library with me so I have choices. But, I'm a crazy lots-of-books-on-a-cruise reader: I have 365 books on my iphone. Also, joining Amazon's Kindle Unlimited is another choice. One can get 3 months free to start.

I suggest a proctored antigen test by phone before you catch the red-eye. That way you are within the 1 day requirement, plus you don't have to get results after you've flown to Europe. You have them in 15 minutes, and stay home if you are positive.

Prices are free-to-$2.99. Sign up for wifi for the rest of the cruise, and download some books to read in quarantine. I agree your husband should go with you to the quarantine hotel, since he's been exposed, but tested negative. He might have a problem with other hotels.

Thank you for validating this. I was beaten about the virtual head and shoulders a few weeks ago about posting that RCCL had stopped testing between b2b cruises, and that I was propagating false info.

I'm getting off the Navi tomorrow. Since February I've been on the Navi for 6 cruises, the Vision for 2, and the Jewel for 2. The food, health protocols, cleanliness, and crew were wonderful on all of them. With the exception of the cabin stewards I had last two Navi cruises. New crew members and hadn't really been trained yet. Very nice, but they were obviously new.
