  1. We only use the cruiseline airfare when we need a one-way fare to or from Europe. They are much cheaper than you can get by booking directly. Also the great plus of locking into a rate and making changes as prices decrease up to that final payment is huge. That said when you book far in advance you are subject to airline changes and possible cancelled bookings due to nonpayment by HAL which happened to us. It was a pain to get that original fare honored despite their mistake, and I'm still battling with not being able to book through Flightease which I'm dealing with now.
  2. I'm assuming these come by email. What is the subject of the email?
  3. We didn't have HIA so the Happy Hours and especially the Historic Happy Hours were awesome.
  4. Yes! In fact they were misadvertised until I sent in a feedback form to let them know. Daily program said 25% off I think and in reality they were 50% off. Yay! It was always in Billboard from 3-4. Also they had a few times on the Transatlantic where they rolled back prices to 150 years ago in light of the 150th Anniversary this year. We couldn't believe the prices.
  5. It doesn't seem to be a home airport problem. It always comes up as TPA, although we could fly out from many Florida airports.
  6. Yes, that's when the flights showed up. I can pick them and try to book. Nothing goes through.
  7. I called today and had the same rep I had 2 days ago. Upon conferring with another group when her attempt to book for me failed, they still insisted that it's too early to book for my sailing. I have a hard time accepting that reason because others from my rollcall have booked for the same return date, April 23rd.
  8. We just went through this with our Transatlantic on Nieuw Statendam. Hubby was isolated for 4 days due to COVID. We received an email confirming the FCC about 10 days after the cruise. They may not always be so fast, but I called a few times so was a squeaky wheel. Within moments after getting the email confirming the FCC, it was online in my Mariner account. It was then automatically applied to the booking we have for next year's TA.
  9. Sometimes it helps if you go in and change one little thing during the check in process. Maybe the spelling of your emergency contact or something minor. New documents are created.
  10. As long as I still get my CCL stockholder OBC, this doesn't impact me.
  11. Yes, still locked out. Called again yesterday for the 3rd time and they said wait another 48 hours. Still no reason given or figured out why I can't book. Return date is 4/23/2024. The flights started showing up for booking as expected over a week ago, but I'm unable to book. Others on the roll call have booked also for return on 4/23.
  12. They advertise 330 days from the date you want to travel. For some reason I'm locked out of booking on Flightease and noone can figure it out. They say it's too soon, and to wait until 300 days out. Others on my RC have booked for my desired return date, so I know it's not a matter of dates. It's really frustrating, but still early. I'm sure it will get resolved eventually.
  13. Many passengers cruise for long lengths of time on the same ship. Not everyone gets off.
  14. This is a comparison of the amenities on all HAL ships. It will answer your question and more. Yes to Lincoln Center, BB King and Billboard. No to Rolling Stones Rock Room. HAL_Ships_at_a_Glance_Chart.pdf
  15. We learned very quickly that the Feedback through the Navigator apps works very well! We submitted 3 unrelated comments, requests and feedback in the app and got nearly immediate response to all 3. These were not staff compliments, but I do know that they are being read real-time at least on the Nieuw Statendam.
  16. I have a hard time interpreting your writing.
  17. We were moved to an obstructed balcony on deck 4 (4144) while my husband was in Covid isolation in April on the Transatlantic. It was nice having daylight versus our inside cabin and the cabin was fine. There's a reason they saved these for isolated pax. Don't get it for a view.
  18. We were on the 14 day Transatlantic on NS and there was no app ordering for Dive In the whole cruise. Pizza was app or walk up.
  19. They offer tons of codeshare flights. I try to avoid them, but they are listed on the options page.
  20. Yes, I know they're all related under Carnival. I called again today with hopes of pressing them to find out more about why my I can't book. They tried again and even went to the supervisor twice when I told them a possible issue, and they just said those flights aren't able to be booked yet. I said there are others I know (from the Rollcall) who have booked for the same day. I've tried all different city pairs, dates, browsers, computers, phones, you name it. Error every time. I also emailed the Guest Relations rep who helped me with my Covid isolation FCC to see if they can check to see why this may be happening. Maybe she can help.
  21. Thanks. Others have been able to book for same day. I'll call Flightease back tonight. I just tried Firefox and Edge, and through app which sends you back to web. All same error.
  22. I do think it's me, not my computers. I've used different browsers, phone. Even the Flightease agent got the same error when booking for me.
  23. Trying to book flights for our April 2024 NS TA, which now show are available on FE. I can see and select flights, and go through all steps and click Book and Confirm. Once it spins for a while, I get the dreaded ERROR, We are unable to process your request. Call bla bla bla. I called FE and they got the error too and said just wait to the 300 day point and try again. On learning that others on our Roll Call have been able to book for the same dates, I'm getting a feeling on what may be happening, and it's not good. Long story short, our FE booked flight for this past April's TA was cancelled by American before final payment due to nonpayment by HAL. We were promised that our rebooked flights would be honored at the original price of the flights that were cancelled. They were for our payment purposes, but every time I went into Flightease, it showed we owed $107 more which it shouldn't have. TA said don't worry about it because our cruise showed paid in full on the HAL end. Could they have flagged us for booking because they think we owe this money? Has anyone had any issue like this?
