Not sure what you mean by “main”, but I sure don’t think SS considers La Terrazza the main dining venue. For example, breakfast can be taken in Atlantide (full service), Terrazza (buffet), Arts Cafe (akin to grab-n-go), or in your Suite. Agree with Mysty. Familiarize yourself with SS’s website. All of restaurant descriptions are there. Impossible to answer. Many here think they are both worth the fee, many do not. Some think La Dame is worth it, Seishen is not, and vice-versa. So, check them out yourself and report back. This forum’s search function is your friend. Loads of menus have been posted here in the past. And, they are all loaded on a super popular website that serves a similar purpose to CruiseCritic, but cannot be named here that we refer to as Voldemort. Hopefully you can figure out the cryptic reference. If not, use the search feature and read the posts and it should become clear.

Totally agree with Dr. Ron. Two separate couples we know chose Scenic on different itineraries and from their reports, Scenic isn’t even close to being in the same league as SS. Best stick with the proven luxury leaders for your river cruise.

That was my greatest fear when they went to the Regent model. The move to Regent was nothing more than a massive price coupled with cheap cookie cutter tours. Once again, not a luxury experience.

Lots of great neighborhoods in BA, but your best bet might be in the modern Puerto Madero neighborhood. Super walkable and loads of taxis and Uber late at night.

In the past, while sailing, SS has set up a special viewing for those who wish to attend, with canapés and cocktails readily available. If for some reason SS doesn’t for your voyage, there will be plenty of bars showing the game in BA.

Neither of the last two posts make sense. How did ZQT and ZQT-E get on Voldemort if ZQT has no access and both Mr. Silver and Mysty saw it? Is it a new SS ad campaign? Or, was it Voldemort’s son, Hank, complaining where the ZQT’s sit while dining?

In Australia, luggage was requested to be left outside your hotel room by 10:30p. Yes, you can skip the SS transfer and get yourself to the ship.

Agree with Mr. Silver. Friends who boarded in Sydney this week reported another boarding fiasco. They arrived about 90-minutes before the SS buses did and when those passengers who used the SS hotel to ship transfer service arrived, they were forced to wait on the buses until the port personnel could accommodate them.

Has nothing to do with being nice or caring, but rather their guarantee. It’s stated clearly in their T&C’s.

Yup, like I said, it’s the customer’s responsibility to find when fares may be lowered. It’s a rare bird. SS has never issued a cash refund on their own to guests who booked at a higher fare.
