A fantastic idea! In 2016 we took a similar cruise to recuperate (and celebrate!) the end of 6 weeks of 30 radiation treatments. I was concerned my Oncologist would advise against, but he wholeheartedly encouraged the trip! Enjoy your cruise to the fullest. 😉👍🚢

Nice to have you in my turkeyless Thanksgiving club. I think I’ve noted this before (probably on this thread during the height of the pandemic when cruising was off the table) but my most memorable Thanksgiving as a youngster was when my Mom and Grandmother collaborated to do a shrimp fry. Grandma made a killer beer batter. I swear I ate 17 jumbo prawns that Thanksgiving. Maybe even 18… …and a confession from your other post of Left Coast delicacies. Forgive me, Father, for not knowing about Humphry Slocombe ice cream. 🤦 But lo and behold, there it was, yesterday, in my local supermarket. Curious to know what flavors are in your freezer (or digestive system)? 🤔

The day after Thanksgiving weather was too good to in the SF Bay Area to stay home and debate leftover turkey ideas. The only thing missing was Symphony or Serenity sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Here in Tofu land, we’ll be dining at Bridges, of Robin Williams fame and Mrs Doubfire. I’m with OLoPP, not a fan of traditional 🦃 dinner. But I love the turkey slider idea!

I’m pre-final payment and want to change my return air, but leave my outbound intact. Modifying in the cruise personalizer doesn’t allow this, as it makes you search for the complete round trip. Problem: My outbound flight is no longer being offered through EZAir. Can only my return air be changed by calling, or will a live agent also make me redo the entire itinerary? Is there a separate phone number to EZAir, or do I call the regular Princess 800-number? Thank you 👍

I flew SFO to Japan a couple days ago. Flight was completely full, but no worries as I purchased three economy seats for the two of us (middle seat empty) on a 3-4-3 configuration. I’ve been doing this fairly regularly the past couple of years when Business Class isn’t in my budget. It has really worked well for us.

Roy, I’ve very much enjoyed following your travels this trip, as always. And a special thanks for posting the daily Waterside menus. It’s been fun to peruse them and anticipate my own voyage in ‘24. 😉 Safe travels home.
