    Just because the money is going to “employee programs” doesn’t change the fact, in my mind, that the cruise line is taking case from the pockets of those I wish to reward, to pay for things, that ultimately are the responsibility of the corporation. Again, just my thoughts; and we all have choices.

    When the MDR starts providing food and service like Capital Grille, then maybe we can discuss an upgraded dress code, but as it is, the MDR is an Applebees. For the record, I have had dinner @ Capital Grille and Del Frisco's the past several months, and wore shorts both times.

    Plant based dining on Royal Caribbean (all ships) is nearly non existent. It is a handful of options recirculated all week; and the culinary staff has absolutely zero idea how to prepare them properly.

    Absolutely 100% correct and my gratuity is between the crew member and me I don’t get involved in company business and I don’t allow the company to get into my business

    On the website you have to go through all the steps and input all the information before you are offered a time a lot. Arrival time is the last option selected.

    Checked in on the website Monday for an upcoming Voyager sailing, nothing changed from the last dozen or so times I have checked in-time slots were offered

    I never said that, I was just pointing out the fact that in your scenario they are making more money for fewer cleanings; that’s all. I would NEVER say anyone makes too much. Everyone should grab as much as they can for as long as they can.

    And in your scenario they are getting tips from 40 people Instead of 30 people (based on double occupancy), sooooooo more money for 30% less work.

    Using that logic, Royal should refund me the MDR food costs for every night I eat dinner in specialty dining. The wait staff gets their guarantee, if I don’t show up to my table they have less work to do, less work, less money.
