  1. Just heard the update. I'm sure many people are working on Plan B's.
  2. Lots more plates, glasses and trash bags in the hallway a few weeks back. I hated that I had to add to it but at some point, there's nowhere else to put it.
  3. Was on 3/20 - 3/24. MDR was good, WJ was so-so. No long waits for drinks at any bar and 12-yr-old didn't complain about the internet at all! All in all, another good cruise.
  4. Yes, we got it for our 12-yr-old a few weeks ago and will always get it for her going forward. I understand that's it a different generation and her having internet for friends and games helps her to have a good trip. If we need internet for something, she's in charge of the researching!
  5. According to this, you can request one. https://www.cruisehive.com/norwegian-cruise-line-quietly-adds-popular-item-to-prohibited-list/97538
  6. There was a story about this on the news this morning. The gentleman in the story said he suggests no one makes travel plans until they have passport in hand. Renewal system is supposed to be up and running "later" this year.
  7. Had them on Freedom last week. Not sure they'd work alone. Enforcement is key.
  8. We had the opposite on Freedom last week and had to ask our waiter to stop bringing food! He said that because the menu changes daily, he wanted us to try everything. While I was eating my steak and my husband the fish, the waiter brought over the fried chicken special. We ordered the salad and crab cake for apps and he also brought the spinach dip and the shrimp cocktail! Too much! But he was the best waiter we ever had.
  9. I have had the best time following this review. I've been "loyal to Royal" but wanted to see what else is going on out there and I'm so glad I found your review. Thank you for taking the time! As a 3rd grade ELA teacher, I bow down to you for teaching middle schoolers! πŸ˜… Safe travels back to "B"!
  10. Welcome to Miami! That $26/day is way more affordable than leaving it at a hotel.
  11. @Sea Dog My husband was recently introduced to the cognac brand, Frapin. Are you familiar with it and/or seen it on the ship? When he mentioned it to me, I knew exactly who to ask! Thanks!
  12. Do you order from a menu or are all those awesome drinks just floating around in your head? Lol
  13. I'm surprised they left off the word "you" in the last sentence. I would imagine many people read this statement over many times. Maybe they need a new person to do final checks before letters are sent and non-existent packages are uploaded!
  14. I believe it's for the free charm bracelet and you can collect a charm each day. It's cute for young girls/tweens. You should see it in your planner.
  15. What a week we are in for! Sailing on Freedom next Monday so it feels like I'm doing a B2B with only having to pay for one! lol
  16. I'm just a lurker but I am thoroughly enjoying this thread. I can't believe how much fun one can have on someone else's cruise!
  17. I read that other post about that in 2021. Why is it even still on their side of the system if it totally doesn't exist? Doesn't make sense.
  18. My condolences on the loss of your father. He must have been a wonderful man to raise such a good son that takes great care of your family the way you do. The smiles on all those faces speak volumes. May he forever rest in peace.
  19. How do you play that large billiards game? What do you use to hit the balls?
  20. Going there for the 1st time in November. Are you doing an excursion? Are you close enough to town if you wanted to just walk around/shop?
  21. A low-calorie non-alcoholic drink menu would be great! Shirley Temple - ginger ale, a little grenadine, squeeze of lime and maraschino cherries.
  22. I thought they had a real chance especially since Miami was playing without Tua.
  23. Just wow! As someone who's never been on a ship for NYE, this is so cool to see! Thanks for posting this video. And I loved the singing! Lol
  24. I hope they were local. My daughter was born at 28 weeks weighing 1lb 10 oz and spent 3 months in the NICU. If they're from out-of-the area, someone will now have to stay in Miami with the baby. Perhaps the mom didn't know she was pregnant because the consequences of this cruise will be long and not easy. Sending prayers and blessings to the baby and parents!
