  1. We have cruised a lot with Royal Caribbean and have enjoyed all of our cruises. Your 12 yo should really enjoy the RC cruise you have booked, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy also.
  2. I can't imagine 6 people in two cabins, regardless of perks or no perks. Why not just book another suite (non-Haven) for 2 of the adults. Six adults then have 3 bathrooms. Mom and Dad need to work out their sleeping arrangements among themselves.
  3. We have done dozens of B2B cruises and have never been required to get off the ship. Primarily Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, in South America, Europe, Iceland/Greenland/Cape Liberty, and US/Canada. A few days before the turn around the B2B cruisers will be notified of a meeting and will then be advised of the process. You will also be advised of when you turn in your sea pass card and when you get the new one. If you like to sleep late, you can't on turn around day, typically you will be out at to the designated area by 8:00AM. B2B is my favorite way to cruise! B2B2B2B2B is even better!!
  4. I would go with the later flight on a "just in case basis". It's 70 miles from port to Bush and you never know how much of a delay you may have on our freeways.
  5. We enjoy booking B2B etc. cruises. The longest we have been on was 51 nights. I would have been fine staying on but DH was ready to get on land.
  6. Yes, I had read all that but I still wondered if there was something I should do.
  7. As title of post says, I have a big red box telling me to change my email address. The only email address I have is the one I use to log in to CC. Apparently there is something I need to do, however I don't know what it is. TIA
  8. We only eat in the Windjammer because there are lots of veggies, fruit and vegetarian options.
  9. I love RCCL Vision class ships and Radiance class ships! 🥰
  10. October 2023, RCCL Jewel of the Seas 22 nights.
  11. It is really unfortunate that NCL knows there is a serious problem with those cabins, and are choosing to not fix the problem. I don't for a minute believe that the ship would have to go into dry dock for the problem cabin structures to be fixed. Our very first cruise was on RCCL Rhapsody of the Seas, 22 nights Sydney to Honolulu. We were in a grand suite, and the first night we were kept awake all night by lots of banging and creaking. We reported the problem the second day in the AM. Two guys were sent to investigate the noise, and they were both there for over 3 hours working, and we never had a noisy night again. If they had just brushed the issue off I doubt that we would have ever taken another cruise. J
  12. In looking up some of the Prima cabins with extreme noise, it seems that they are mostly in The Haven?
  13. Having just read about endless banging and noise in Prima cabins, I am wondering if anyone has compiled a list of reported noisy cabins. TIA
  14. I just booked Carnival Miracle out of Galveston, and in reading the Carnival forum I'm 😶. We have never cruised out of Galveston, and have never cruised with Carnival. We have just over 400 nights at sea with RCCL, Celebrity, and Cunard, so not new to cruising. We are about 90 minutes from Galveston, so no flying involved, so it looked like a good idea at the time. Miracle is a smaller ship, the cruise is in January, so I was thinking it would be relativity calm on board, (not talking about the sea, the sea doesn't bother me). So, Carnival cruisers, especially Miracle cruisers, enlighten me please.
  15. Wow..... We have just over 400 nights at sea, and for the first time ever I just booked a Carnival cruise on Miracle out of Galveston. I wish I could unread this.
  16. I would love to see a Galveston to Bermuda, and 12-15 days.
  17. "Better" is not a word I would use with the subject, to me it is purely customer choice.
  18. I had unknowingly booked a cabin in the slide area, thanks to CC cruisers letting me know, so canceled it and booked 10704. We have never been on the front of a ship, so this will be a new experience. Any insight on 10704 is welcome. I'm guessing it will be windy, but January in the Caribbean should be fairly warm, and we are going out of Galveston.
