  1. I was able to get a future cruise credit after a price drop and after final payment. I called NCL and the agent asked if I wanted an upgrade or future cruise credit. The agent submitted a request and I got an email that as a one time good will gesture. This was a couple months ago.
  2. The bridge was included in the paid Behind the Scenes Tour. Photos were allowed in certain areas during the paid tour. I do remember we weren't allowed to take photos on the bridge.
  3. And, you never know if an issue comes up or you get injured or have to stay in one of the countries you visit. What happens if you don't have a passport? I just don't understand why people take that chance if they are going to another country.
  4. just checked in for the Jade leaving Lisbon at 9:00pm and the earliest arrival times to pick were 9:30am to10:00am. The previous sailing arrives in Lisbon at 7:00am.
  5. The Behind the Scenes (paid and the free ones) are both held now. I took a paid one back in April. The paid one goes to more areas then the free one, as far as I understand. I've only taken the paid ones.
  6. Mine was more than I calculated so I didn’t complain. Yes it’s a full FCC. in regards to terms and conditions they were included in the email I received stating I got the FCC and how much.
  7. Call NCL and ask for a future cruise credit for the difference in the price adjustment. I called recently and I was asked if I wanted an upgrade or a future cruise credit of the difference. This was after the final payment. The person I talked with said they would submit the request and about a week later I got an email stating I would get the amount in a future cruise credit. It would be added to my account after my sailing.
  8. Definitely have a plan B. It could go all go right and you make it, yes, but so many things could happen. If all goes right let's say, you get off by 6am, an hour wait, leave by 7am and make it to the airport by 930am. But that's if everything goes right. In addition to the ship possibly being late or delayed in letting people off, not sure when the NCL transportation leaves. I would assume they want to load the bus or train first, so even if you get off by 6am, how long will it take others and load the bus? What about an accident on the road? There is only one road to/from Seward and Anchorage. I have friends that live there and if there is an accident then the road might be blocked and has been in the past for multiple hours. You could try and make it, but just be prepared to have a plan B in case you miss your flight.
  9. Also you do not have to explain to anyone your feelings or the way the interaction made you feel. You do not have to justify your perception and feelings to anyone.
  10. I'm glad you went to guest services and complained about the attitude of the manager. You did nothing wrong, you had no idea those items weren't for you. The crew should have been more discreet about the mixup and not had an attitude, especially in public. Better customer service would have notified you of the mix up but let you use all the items anyway.
  11. I have no idea, I was just reading their original schedule from a couple days ago. I am not on the ship and have no idea their revised itinerary.
  12. A few months or so ago, when there was a special/sale where you could apply three cruise next deposits to a cruise reservation, I was able to apply a 3rd one to my two existing upcoming reservations.
  13. According to cruise mapper it looks like the Norwegian Escape and the Seven Seas Mariner. The Mariner was originally supposed to arrive in Bermuda on the 14th and not arrive in NYC until the 17th. The Escape was supposed to be in Halifax and St. John and not arrive in NYC until the 17th. I guess they are avoiding the Hurricane.
  14. The Epic does not have a vibe beach club, it has the posh deck. Two different things. The article you cited does not mention the Epic or the Posh deck. THe posh deck pass was not available ahead of time to purchase on the sailing we went on. It was only available for non Haven passengers to purchase the morning of sailing at guest services.
  15. On my cruise in Apr 2023, you couldn't purchase it ahead online, but I understand that process has changed since then. That is really great, as it was annoying to try and get in line at guest services early enough to get a pass.
  16. Hotels booked through NCL are usually much more expensive then booking yourselves. Just double check the prices first, before booking through them.
  17. Also if your excursion is through NCL and it isn't until hours after you dock (like you dock in the morning and your excursion is in the afternoon), you can still use your excursion ticket as your tender ticket at anytime during the day. You won't need to get a separate tender ticket. You can get in line anytime and get on a tender.
  18. Have faith you might eventually get it back (although won't help on your cruise). Dylan Dryer of the Today Show finally recovered her luggage at the airport, 5 weeks after the airline lost it. She said JFK airport's storage luggage place had tons of luggage when she went there. Was your ticket issued under United or both? Who did you file a lost luggage claim with, when you discovered it? I would file a claim with that airline. Sorry to hear about it.
  19. I bought the luggage tag holders, but once when I had the paper ones on, the luggage porter said those rip off easily and he wrote up the luggage tag he had and replaced mine with his. You can have a porter do that at the dock when you arrive.
  20. I took a paid Behind the Scenes Tour in April on the Epic and it included the bridge.
  21. I noticed on my recent reservation at 120 days out, there seemed to be more times available then when I looked at 124/123 days out. I'm platinum so I could book dining at 125 days out. I wasn't sure about a couple days for dining reservations, so when I looked a couple days later, the time slots were slim. But, when I looked at 120 days out, there were alot more time slots. My reservations weren't for a large group like yours, but you might want to look again at 120 days out (at midnight).
  22. You can go on insuremytrip.com and compare policies and companies for your needs.
  23. I searched on NCL.com and selected balcony and clicked "choose another cabin" selected a deck, mid ship and then it gave me all the available cabins.
  24. Just looked on the NCL site and on Deck 10 - mid ship, I am able to choose at least 10 regular balcony cabins. Deck 9 has at least 9 more. Deck 11 has at least 15 cabins available.
  25. It's not a private tour guide, but I think they have private tours. I'd recommend the company, "We Hate Tourism Tours". I took the Sintra/Cascais tour as I was staying in Lisbon, and it was great, small group and interesting places. I'm sure the Lisbon tours will be just as good. I see on their site they have a tour just for cruise ship passengers called "Pirates of the Cruise Ships/Lisbon" https://www.wehatetourismtours.com/ I also recommend this private transportation/tour guide. I used her as private airport transportation and I see she has her own tour guide service. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g189158-d8480353-Reviews-Taxi_Lx_Mar-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html
