We almost always utilize Vines for lunch on sea days several times since we are not a big fan of the new lunch menu. Lately Vines has been open at 11:00 on those days and yes we have always been able to share one plate
CVP’s are Princess employees. I don’t understand the reluctance. You would still be dealing with Princess but with people who have a lot more access to the powers that be
So why haven’t you tried to get a CVP to help you through this ? If you are trying to switch to a different what you call comparable cruise what you are actually doing is canceling and booking a new cruise. Pricing may have changed. Again if you aren’t going to get a CVP then I don’t know what you think we can do for ypu
People need to be aware that concierge lounges only exist on Royal class ships. Also many of us drink at many hours of the day not just 5 to 7. The minibar is not refillable so on longer cruises it can be gone quickly. We always sail in suites and get the plus package
You can always walk up and ask for a table. If no table is available you may have to wait. Be advised the 5:00 seems to be a very popular time and you will see people lined up waiting for doors to open as early as 4:30
And the person in charge of future cruises is featured on the officer picture board but they do not work for Princess just like all the managers of spas and casinos. If they are in charge of events why don’t they run the MTP lunch the officers are all introduced by the head of future cruises
I have cruised since 1990 and can tell you the packages have saved me tons of money. Princess has probably the least amount of things like climbing walls, wart slides, go cart races etc. No one has to use specialty dining, room service etc. They are there if you want them but you will never go hungry regardless of what plan you have
The long lines in SF have been there for awhile. That is why we don’t even try to board early. Easy to go over to Fog City for lunch and beer and the go across the street. Nobody in line at all walk right onto ship
