  1. We almost always utilize Vines for lunch on sea days several times since we are not a big fan of the new lunch menu. Lately Vines has been open at 11:00 on those days and yes we have always been able to share one plate
  2. Don’t hold your breath. But the charcuterie plate at Vine will easily feed 2 and yes they allow it
  3. CVP’s are Princess employees. I don’t understand the reluctance. You would still be dealing with Princess but with people who have a lot more access to the powers that be
  4. It can’t look like slice of it is a full pie You cannot go to Slice and have them hand you full pies
  5. So why haven’t you tried to get a CVP to help you through this ? If you are trying to switch to a different what you call comparable cruise what you are actually doing is canceling and booking a new cruise. Pricing may have changed. Again if you aren’t going to get a CVP then I don’t know what you think we can do for ypu
  6. I don’t consider them concierge’s and they do not have that title
  7. People need to be aware that concierge lounges only exist on Royal class ships. Also many of us drink at many hours of the day not just 5 to 7. The minibar is not refillable so on longer cruises it can be gone quickly. We always sail in suites and get the plus package
  8. We have seen that statement when we ordered.the medallion but we never incur a charge. If we did I would go through my CVP to take care of it
  9. Not if you cruise with the Plus or Premier plans
  10. You must not have been aware of the verbiage “included in package”. If you don’t see it you are being charged
  11. Lovely auto fill. Water slides may have warts though
  12. You can always walk up and ask for a table. If no table is available you may have to wait. Be advised the 5:00 seems to be a very popular time and you will see people lined up waiting for doors to open as early as 4:30
  13. And the person in charge of future cruises is featured on the officer picture board but they do not work for Princess just like all the managers of spas and casinos. If they are in charge of events why don’t they run the MTP lunch the officers are all introduced by the head of future cruises
  14. They do not work for Princess they are part of the future cruise group which is now run by a third party vendor. Not exactly the same
  15. I don’t think cruising is the vacation for you
  16. I have cruised since 1990 and can tell you the packages have saved me tons of money. Princess has probably the least amount of things like climbing walls, wart slides, go cart races etc. No one has to use specialty dining, room service etc. They are there if you want them but you will never go hungry regardless of what plan you have
  17. There are no concierges on Grand.class ships
  18. I have ordered room service from a full suite with the plus plan and never been charged
  19. How did you miss the little numbers with a dollar sign in front of them ? Slices on deck are free pies are not
  20. The long lines in SF have been there for awhile. That is why we don’t even try to board early. Easy to go over to Fog City for lunch and beer and the go across the street. Nobody in line at all walk right onto ship
  21. Plus and Premier packages (not the standalone beverage packages) do not incur the $5 charge for calling room service. Some people confuse the plans
  22. The charcuterie plate with veggies and truffles in Vines
