  1. The mid ship dining room on deck 6 has a portion set aside for reserve class dining. So there will be fewer tables available in that dining room
  2. Yes it is very normal. MDR lunch is only on sea days
  3. No problem two accounts two credit cards no issue. My wife and I do this all the time
  4. We never order through the app and only order from bartenders. Never had any issues. Plenty of places to get food and lots of bars
  5. Even if you did that if everyone wanted to eat early and very few want to eat after 8:00 you would have the same issue
  6. We also take longer cruises from 10 to 20 days as a rule. We will usually eat in specialty restaurants at least twice when the dinner menu doesn’t fit our fancy
  7. One of the things I see on sailings from the US is that everyone seems to want to eat early. Often there are long lines from 4:30 on even before the doors open. If everyone wants to eat between 5 and 6 there simply are not enough tables. For those who want to eat after 7:30 there is usually no issues
  8. Everyone chooses how to spend money on cruises. We choose not to pay for chefs table or winemakers dinners don’t buy jewelry or most excursions. We are casino players so we take our discounts and upgrade to reserve class
  9. We have sailed in suites 8 times since the restart and it is not an issue. The specialty restaurants do set tables aside on embarkation night. We either go to the venue when we embark or call the dine line never had a problem. In fact once we were called by the dine line while we were unpacking to set a venue and time
  10. Never got a bounce back but saw some possible deals on line so called CVP and got some good deals for 2025 including a re fare of an existing cruise. Was able to get free room, plus and a little free play. Not quite as good as before but not bad
  11. At Crown I am partial to both the filet and the lamb chops. At Sabatini’s almost all the pastas are good especially the carbonara
  12. When you have cruised over 50 times and spend a lot of time in restaurants and bars you get to know quite a few people. On our last cruise we bumped into a bar manager and 3 bartenders we had sailed with before
  13. The Crown is an older ship the bigger ones have more There is sometimes a pop up now and then but to reassure you we have enjoyed meals in both.
  14. As far as I know the only specialty restaurants on the Crown are Sabatini’s (my favorite) and Crown Grille. What is the 3rd restaurant you are referring to ?
  15. We were just on the Crown a month ago and there was a different menu each day
  16. Entertainment is a very broad category which also includes casino workers not just singers and dancers. How do I know that ? Because I was gifted a specialty dinner on my last cruise and per dine line it was from the entertainment department and yes I am a casino player
  17. So do I. I thought I was the only one who used their pet as the personal pic
  18. Again all those who might bring you a blanket at MUTS or an extra towel at the pool are giving you service as well as many that you never see. Again just my opinion Basically how do you determine which of the crew”deserve” it
  19. If the CA goes to the crew and you remove CA then you are taking money from crew it doesn’t matter if you call it salary or tips. That is all semantics And yes I have many friends who work on ships who have told me that if enough people remove CA then it affects there total compensation
  20. We have sailed on all of them and enjoyed all. For us the longer the cruise the better. We actually have 17 day cruise to Alaska booked for 2025
  21. I believe the point is that the sticky stuff left will mean more work for the steward to clean up. We just put a rolled up towel against the light by the bed and it doesn’t go on
